As far as I understand, it is too close to our borders to gain any benefits from civil war in Turkey. Putin was ready to forgive Erdogan (and stop sanctions: russian tourists are a very big deal in Turkey), but he still acts like a douche.

Erdogan has big issues with both: military and kurds, which want to become independant. And murikans too.

Numerous. Starting from Iran in 1978. Not to mention "Arab Spring" (poor Libyan bastards, that lived in social heaven under Gaddafi: gas cheaper, than water; 50% money from the goverment for buying a car; 64k $ for every new family, 7k $ for every new-born, health care and education free, studying abroad free, no big taxes, oil income allocation between citizens, etc...)

Attempt in China (Tiananmen), USSR, Georgia, attempt in Syria, attempt in Moldova, Ukraine, recent attempt in Kazakstan...and terror in Europe to "stimulate" TTIP, because french and german people don't really feel like it.

BTW, want more bloodshed throughout the World - vote for Clinton. Her motto is aggressive approach.
Means determine end.

Hillary just sent out a tweet supporting him

Granted Turkey is a NATO ally and shares borders with Iraq/Syria, and it can't descend into chaos

Turkey is also a safeguard for the EU. One of the top ten largest and most effective world militaries, the 2nd largest military in NATO behind the US, and one of the world's top twenty economies. A crucial US ally in both NATO and the middle east

And its over, coup failed

Erdogen will probably use this as an excuse to purge the military so that he can further his religious agenda

Really hope turkey dosnt end up becoming a terrorist **** hole

The aftermath of this coup is going to be a very uncertain time. Given the relatively small scale of the coup hopefully Turkeys military will still have enough of a command structure left to function effectively after those involved are arrested.

I am sure it wont be, cause including France, Belgium and other west European countries trained terrorists against Turkey and now Syria and Iraq is doing that against all Europe or maybe world. (no offense to ppl of these countries.) We are living terrorism for over 30 years, believe you me, I cant find words to describe my hate against it.

Erdogan only gets 40-45% of the votes and I dont think it can go higher soon. I dont know when but I am sure his time will come to end in some point.

Hello all, as a turkish player from ankara ( capital ), we experienced a massive terrorist attack tonight. I just came from streets and will tell you what happened later ( didn't read the posts ).

For your information, everything seems is ok and safe right now.

Look what happened to terrorists who sneaked to army.

A military coup is not a terrorist act, the people who initiated the coup ordered people to stay in doors for their own safety, terrorists are sorta the opposite of safety for common people. Yet the president wanted people to go out on the streets risking themselves so he could regain power, its no surprise this attempted coup happened, Erdoğan has been driving the country closer towards Islam, censoring media and generally ruling with an iron fist, this coup was a long time coming. In fact I'm not surprised it didn't happen sooner, it seems every 10-20 years turkey gets a corrupt governmental system which is eventually purged by the military, unsuccessfully this time however.

its so obvious where are you from, even no need to see your profile, same words as all your country says every day. You just want destabilisation in Europe and the whole world. I will not be surpized if your monster president will use that situation to cut the knot in Armenia and Azerbaijan, while Turkey cant react.
Also, about russian tourists, you can ask anyone here or else, do other countries need it?
Erdogan never apologized to russia, try to find such kind information in other press but russian. Noone gives a ...ck about your sanctions. No doubt that russia Will use that situation.
And closing civil wars and other kinds of war on your border shows that you participate in it any way. it happens too often and everytime in your borders. it as metastasis.
