That is because you are playing a Chosen (or Zealot/Magus/Marauder) that is solely dedicated to Tzeentch.


And if we're discussing lore, let us not forget that this game has male Dark Elf Sorcs openly practicing their magic, Ironbreakers using 2-handed weapons, automated Dwarven turrets, every single White Lion running around with a pet lion, etc...

2H sword for BG? Why not if anyone like it. I presonaly like polearm/spear more than swords. It looks different and unique.

I never understod mythics design decision, Why is Chosen the only Tank class in the game that both have 2h axe and greatsword? All other Tank classes are locked into 1 type of 2 hander

well, ironbreakers have hammers (making them hammerers, lore wise) or axes, both as one and two handers.

Well you right i forgot about IB's but you get the ide, i kinda find it funny that thay left out all the other tank classes from having a second 2 hander option.

After some reseach the Spear for Kotbs i guess it did exist in the early versions of the game but was probly removed to make Bg abit more unique beeing the only melee class with a spear however Kotbs also used Lances in battle so it would not really break any lore? you can be the judge.

I think that kotbs hasnt animation for spear in final version of the game, so this dream never become true

If you want to stick to "lore" you need to make wls tanks (also get rid of their pets), sms dps (also get rid of their shields), get rid of male sorcs, and a whole bunch of other stuff I probably havent even heard of. So yea, f*** lore, this would be awesome.

The image you posted is a Executioner, a class unrelated to Blackguar. However the Blackguard should be able to use spear and shield if anything closeby.
