It is a non issue right now, you can be competitive in vendor and calamitous gear, if your not then chances are you will suck even with a blue/purp setup.

i do hope to reimplement the pve drops at some point. And actually not because of the items, but more becuase of size of the zerg at the moment..
Every single person no matter what level comes in t2 and join a wb. Yes it is about big battles but with only 1 zone open it just clutters things up to much.

If you don't think a purple weapon makes a difference compared to a green weapon, then chances are you never played this game past t1.

If purple gives you enough damage to burst a target down where you wouldn't in green or survive burst for the healer or tank to swap to focus/guard you. That gear isnt just better it is many times better. Add that benefit over a whole premade and its not even in the same league.

Don't think this is a big problem tbh. My IB is only wearing green gear and I don't feel handicapped.
Pretty much always afk or tabbed out.

We are in t2 which means obviously i have played past t1, not to mention the time i spent on live in t4 but anyway... Its a non issue because it hardly makes a difference, 20 extra stat points, 100 armor rating whatever it is aint worth whining about. I see players in green gear outhealing/outdps'ing doing better applying CC and guard switch then players in full blue and purp stuff. Its like on live where some ppl refused to pvp before they got into warpforge armor but when they did they got owned by players in sov.

2 runescribed weapons vs 2 greens = almost 80 str difference in ability power, and even more for auto attack. And that's just the weapons... it makes a gigantic difference.

Those that dont understand the advantages of minmaxing are always destined to be mediocre.

80 str difference ? are u comparing starter weapons with rune scribed ?
Just sounds to me ppl are gearing up in green stuff, dying and looking for a reason..."oh they must have woe or runescribed, thats why i died".
Im not saying the player in bis will not have an advantage, but the advantage is minimal, might be noticeable at times but doesnt make or break you.

To say their isnt a difference just isnt true, a hit that would have done 100 dmg to you might only do 80 or 70 if you have blue/purp, there is a difference is effectiveness between clamit and Woe/rune how much that diffeence means to you is respective to the the player, those you point out saying that their doing great in just greens you know would preform even better if their weapons had higher dps, or their armor allowed them to take even moar hits

Baiscally it’s the difference between dieing or getting away with like 100 or so hp
