Waiting after t1-t3 are clear and t4 introduced could prevent that. t1-t3 it's where the time spent is less from a gameplay perspective and so ppl dont have time to gather the best tali around and that for a good gameplay experience would be preferable.
+1

EDIT: Extra T1 helm, shoulders and gloves evens it out I guess. So my bad and nonsens removed :/

They don't got it wrong balancing wise. The stat progression of talismans is linear, you don't need purple ones because blues are not much worse. The only big difference is between players with and without talismans, even stronger in lower tiers.
Those without failed to understand the basics. It was no effort to get talismans - the blue ones - to compete.

WAR was not about no farming at all, it's about spending more time fighting than farming.
While i agree there should be some effort towards crafting lets face it crafting in war was not fun and basically came down to grinding and luck.
I know i said this earlier in this thread but a vendor that sold talis would help players customize there chars, not all armor and sets provide the stats that help how someone will play there char and talis would help alot.

Sure nothing is perfect and many things in WAR aren't but most things people complain about I don't understand. Most people complain about farming , talismans , potions and how much time they need to get things.

I don't mean the bugged Lootlists and Droptables , they are bugged for sure.

But why people still farm when they only complain about it?You don't need the best gear ingame to become a good player. And you don't need the best talismans or potions to become a good player. Most gear you can buy on vendors and on auction house is as good as the gear you can farm. You can go on playing in RvR without the best things ingame. When you need the 1 or 3 points difference on an attribute you should think about it.

I see people with Level 1-9 in sc better playing without gear or shitty gear then full equipped level 12 characters. And the same was on Mythic servers in higher tiers. That many level 40 rr 100 characters with all possible talismans and potions but they got owned by people who know how to play their character.

+ shouldn't be there something for people who spend their time in the game? What's with people who like to farm or grind or like spending time on a game to get special stuff to have the best gear/talismans/potions. There isn't a big difference but they have the best things ingame and fun to do this. And there are people who like this, Sure they are in the minority but they are there.

Ofc ppl wo tallies just got stomped
Now recalculate the values with blue talis and compare them. Wearing NO talis is the players fault.

Dana wrote:"Don't get me wrong, I want talis. I just don't want a cheap way of buying them from vendors. All existing talisman drops were common rarity and had low stats. Same goes for quest rewards. They actually already drop from mobs.
When you add them now fully crafted and with good stats at vendor, nobody would accept to craft them later like we used to on old servers, when a proper crafting system is added."

We will keep it like on the "old live" servers. Crafting system etc

Not like in the way above.
Good to hear :)

I personally think this is too general, it varies by class/archetype imo. For example, healers and def tanks with basic gear (GR/helm/vendor stuff) can prob do almost as well as ppl with BiS gear (mainly due to having tough vendor jewels for tanks), and similar with BW/sorc as their mechanic seems to make up it.

It's different for others like mdps imo though, particularly WH/WE where you need to get in and burst ppl down: it's not "1 or 3 points difference", more like 70 between someone with 4 +12 jewels/lover cloak/bis everywhere else and someone without (biggest diff coming from the jewels and cloak).

As for your last point I'm not so sure where I stand on that, I agree ppl who like farming/pve should still be rewarded but I'm not so sure it should be pvp stat-based, maybe alt appearances or sth like that?

Seriously, +12 jewels were blue ones and everybody was able to get them easily. Yes, talismans made a difference but only between players with and without talismans. The difference to someone with purple ones is minimal.

I wasn't referring to your post, and I meant jewellery not jewels as in talismans :P
