How to unlock Big Freeze for Destro?

So I was trying to get the Big Freeze tome unlock for a bestial token on a Destro character earlier today but the official directions from this website do not work:

Instructions: Destruction
Talk to Maedlaine Bloodwine in Kyaran's Advance (Dark Elf Ch14) in Saphery. She is located between the mailbox and Trelan Blightblade.

It’s not possible to talk to this NPC because clicking on her doesn’t lead to an interaction of any kind.

I tried asking in Advice about it but no one answered. I would appreciate it if someone can shed some light on this, thanks!
