So this idea sprang out off (being one of the many players) who are stuck in the invader token purgatory, where you hit lvl 40/70 and the only way too get them are through forts as it is at the moment ... BUT ... First off you need contribution too enter forts AND Forts are "thrown" too get too city, which means its alot harder too get them invader tokens (or even bags) when compared too city. In City sc you basicaly just have too log in at the right time and if you're lucky you'll end up against some PuG wb and stomb em ... *BUM* 12 royal crests right there (Or invader tokens if you're below lvl 40/70)
So basically my idea would be ... Lets use chaos vs empie as an example.
Praag ... leave it as it is. The Ones who win Praag though will enter the "New Fort zone" (that would be either Reikland or chaos waste)... everyone can enter at any given time, no contribution needed here. Here there will be only one Keep - The defenders one. In this new fort zone there will be different stages and a timer like in the ones we already have.
Stage 1 - A capture of the flag kinda thingie (like the one we have in current fort zone), where you need the flags too produce recources for siege equipment. Bigger rams, more oil, dem Git throwing catapults etc. More supplies -> better siege equipment for stage 2.
Stage 2 - A real Castle assault ... Think like the kinda castle assault they show in the intro (Epic), but on a timer. If you manage too push through -> stage 3.
Stage 3 - basically like the stage 3 of the forts as we know them at the moment (Or maybe more stages... dunno?)
BUT too enter the next zone ... in this case the Maw or Reikwald you WILL need an reservation, which means you actually have to "fight for you're right" too enter the City sc and are not just given it for free. The reservation will last for, lets say 3-4 hours or more if needed, so you can still join the fights for locking down the second pairring, which is still needed too get acces too the city.
