upgrade officer medallions

Im trying to find a way to upgrade the officer meds to conqueror ones but cant find how do it....it´s possible??
Maybe in the past, when conqueror was top tier set this was a reason to make harder to obtain...but now that conqueror is a "starting set" for fresh 40/40 this point make harder for new players to get equipment to compete Vs full invader/sov players...

Would be very much appreciated if we could upgrade officer to conqueror and conq to vanq. I believe there are lots of ppl like me who sit on thousands of officer meds by now :/

Officer is the last one you can convert up to. You can convert down to Conquerer though.

The easiest way to get Conqueror is not from tokens but from keep gold bags. Unlike the old system in RoR and on live, when rolling for keep bags you are only ever competing against yourself regardless of how many players were involved in the siege. If you don't roll high enough to get a gold bag then the next time you get a bonus to the roll. If that doesn't work then you get an even bigger bonus until you finally get the bag. The bonus then resets. This ensures that all players participating in RvR have a steady stream of gold bags coming in with set pieces in them. Vanquisher medallions that drop from RR50+ players (I think...) can be converted down to Conqueror ones at a ratio of 1 vanq = 5 conq so that will help get the gear.

There is also the other option of running Gunbad. 3 full runs gets you a full set of Redeye gear.

But what if you already have a full conq set and only need vanq and invader? I have so many officer medallions i could take a bath in em :/

My shaman (40/53) is getting vanq pieces in gold bags not conqueror => its ok, but harder to get the conqueror ones. Vanq> conq but if im missing 1 piece for complete the conq set (for excample) getting vanq is not better.

As i said, i see the reason for not let ppl upgrade from officer => conq IN THE PAST when conq was BiS for most ppl. But now is annoying cant get conq and force ppl to upgrade from annhi => vanq.

Event on live you could never upgrade from Officer's Medallions to Conqueror Crests. Though on Live there was the built-in catchup mechanic of all players having a chance to drop medallions/crest appropriate to their renown level. So if a lot of the playerbase was 60+ you'd get a lot of Warlord/Royal crests which would break down to 25/125 Conq Crests each.

Live was live....this is not live.
Here the higher meds that you get dropped by kill in rvr are vanq meds, and thats conq x5...dont help a lot.

The real question is whats the reason to make conqueror gear harder to get than lower rvr sets when that set is not "a thing" anymore.

You’ll have an easy time getting conqueror once you hit rr 50.
