Purple Resistance Talismans

I have tried salvaging a few purple items for resistance fragments and have repeatedly gotten blue fragments. I took a look on the (order) AH and did not find any purple resistance fragments/talismans. I know that resistance fragments don't have high demand on ror so not many people would salvage for resists. So my question is: "Has anyone created purple resistances talismans?" and if not "Is it intentional for us to not be able to create them?"

You are correct that when you salvage purple items for resistance fragments you get blue. I am 99% certain they do not exist in the game. Volgo runs resistance talis so I'm pretty sure he would be able to tell you with certainty.

I made one, but apparently you need a spec moment on a blue frag, since purple frags aren't available

Yes it' almost imp get one. I rune res talismans too and its way too hard craft em even considering they are a very niche stuff.

I guess I'll have to craft a billion blues until I get purple crits; unless there is a chance that we can get at least 175/200 purple resist frags added onto salvaging/crafting tables?

They exist. I have one +84 purple rank 32. But its just not worth the hassle. You can get blue that are +80 (r32) or even +85 (r36). The difference you get is minimal. Get +80 or better, blue or not, changes almost nothing.
