Some back story before the proposal. So for a while the devs have been trying for a while to break the trifecta of wounds, armour and heal debuff that marauder held on live. The first change and the one I am am addressing in this post was the change made by aza to increase the cool down in an effort to reduce the up time of the debuff and bring it down in power. Back then it had little of it's intended impact and only served to reduce the marauders sustained damage output, we still held the best wounds debuff in game and so very little changed. Fast forward to today and the wounds debuff is slashed by over 33% making the black guards tactic based debuff much more competitive and in the eyes of some more desirable, as the black guard has had significant improvements to its utility.
So onto the meat of the matter.
!Identify the issue
The first nerf of marauder caused us to loose some dps in an attempt to nerf our debuffing power, now since the debuffing power is truly nerfed it seems right that the dps from a quicker TB should be returned.
Why is it an issue?
Marauder was never the highest dps of the melee classes so it stands to reason that it is unfair to nerf the dps.
The fix
Back to a 5 second cool down, this will fix up rotations and restore the lost damage.
