Capitals

I wish tosuggest to enable the 4 capital cities that were excluded from game. Yesterday i saw a video of retail reckoning that was telling devs scripted and created capitals but later excluded those zones. Is it possible to enable em? this would add depth to the game... at least no one is forced to spawn in empire/chaos area forcefully and would probably populate the elf/orcs area that are desert especially in t1 open rvr.

No. It's impossible. There have never been all 6 cities. 2 of them are finished(Empire/Chaos). 2 were in production(dwarf/orc). And 2 never have been worked on (elf/dark elf). There are the unfinished files of the orc and the dwarf capital in the files, so these two might find their way into the game once we can Patch the client. But the elf and Dark elf cities are just nonexistant.

2 things.

1, What Sau said. You can search for Londo's thread on other Capital cities that he flew around in(and made some really cool pics/video's) for more info. I remember a fairly drawn out discussion about them in that thread.

2, Are you actually asking for the Capital Cities, or just the Zones? Capital cities would have 0 impact on any ORvR activity, especially T1. To open up racial spawn points(ie each race has a different starting point at lvl 1) but this would only matter until you get to the first WC and reach a flight master. We have a TINY player-base, and seperating all the starting players into 3 different zones would hurt the activity level's of T1.

Grouping everyone into the one "starting" zone is a good thing imo. If you want to run the other race's area's you can fly there, or just after starting a new character type /stuck twice quickly and that will port you to your race's starting location(at I believe it still does...) once you set a bind point however, this doesn't work anymore.

T1 it has always been nordland/norsca battles. It is because of the geography more than anything else imo. And regardless where you have the toon's start, they will just walk to a WC and fly to nord/norsca...

TLDR: if you want ORvR in other zones, go form a WB and bring em over to another zone...

Far into the future I imagine a live event of historical significance. The conflict will rage for six months, and the winning faction will win either the Dwarf capital or Orc capital. Then you can focus on just the one for the next six months finish and release it.

This. Right after Dungeons, forts, city takes, LoTD, RR equipment, bug's fixed, server stabilized, playerbase stabilized, and 10th person on the server has FINALLY achieved their 4th Genesis Piece...

The sky is the limit for the game if one could wave a magic wand. Someone hurry up and win the lotto damnit...

didn t know about that i never played retail. well would be nice one day see playerbase grow (and let's admit it, 1 year ago we were like 200 barely and now 600+! :D )

600, after playerbase was about 1.3k in EU-Primetime.
Lost about half of the player. But well, shiz happens and more will come back again.

Yeah. Ddos, x realming, and the fact that Tier 4 wasn't what people expected drove them away. But the ddos fight is won for now, and the other issues will be worked on :) so I guess the playerbase might grow again in some months. We just experience a hard time right now...

didnt know about the capitals but to me its irelevant if we get the extra capitals tbh i rather dont have a extra capital then unfinished work at the same time its probably gonna take the dev team ALOT of hours to fix it so i rather have other things done and have em forget about this unless its a guy in the dev team who really wanna make the citys but theyr time will be better spent elsewhere i mean like the team on warhammer online also had HUUUUUGE problems fixing all the stuff game is huge
