No more RR for getting kills using siege? When was this implemented?

I noticed this last night- I think it was when the server first came back up- after the ddos attack. There's really no point in purchasing siege weapons now that you're not getting any renown from kills.
All it does now is ruin you RR since all you get is XP.

What you call freenown was actually doing most of the damage to enemy and to their siege. So basically you are fine with losing? Because I was one of the few that would buy single shot and kill rams, then turn them on destro. Now I am not even going to bother with wasting money on siege, not if I dont get anything from it

You get the glory of defending the realm. Siege should not be the holy grail to everything, it's a tool that you should utilize, not a tool to be camped - as we saw it was the same certain few people camping these things day and night for the sole reason of renown, why should such little effort reward you so much?

My point exactly. Keeps will flip more often without them in play. Force the PLAYERS to attack the RAMs and other PLAYERS using their abilities, not some guaranteed 600 damage AoE crap weapon.
