Let's first cast light on what the error here is: Why does the Warrior priest nothave acces to wearing shields?
Now you all might be thinking things like "whaaaaaaa?? the warrio priest do not use shields" but that is simply cause you have been brainwashed by the evryday image of the warrior priest you see in warhammer RoR and also saw in Online. so let's start with reworking that image:
Firstly we need to know where the Image of the warrior priest orgion from, and indeed where is that? for this image we roam the wast knowledge of the internet, and we find this!: http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Sigmar
Now if you read the first pharagrap you would learn that Sigmar heldenhammer is not just the image of the Warrior
priest. Hes also the founder of the Empire as the one who united all of the 12 tribes! Nof of course no king rules for ever so at some point Sigmar Heldenhammer, it is stated in the history that he traveled east to the World's edge mountains, with a few animals as companiens. Thous the Empire is thrown into chaos as their strong leader disapears and it is in this chaos that the so well known Cult of sigmar is born. the cult of sigmar is men claiming that Sigmar Heldenhammer had not fallen, thous simply went to rule the heaven (this is where the warrior priest gains is divine fury from). And it is in this image the warrior priest are created
Now we have the orde of sigmar created, now to understand the structure of this organziation we have to take a look at the real world. Now wich religion looks a bit like this one? thats right christianity...(at least in some points). Since ordre of sigmar is actualy basicly christianity but just in warhammer, and the Warrior priest can have some resamblence with the Crusaders or trained monks... now you might be wondering where I'm tring to get with all this, and my point here is that the Warrior priests are not the onlyone who believes in Sigmar Heldenhammer. Just to get that clear.
Now back to the mainpoint here, so if we believe that the warrior Priests are created in the image of sigmar why should that have them get acces to shields?
Well you see since Sigmar actualy had a shield in combat thats why, if you read the whole wiki page you would have stumbled upon a sentecne in the phargraph about "sigmars legend" saying:
"In time, he grew to be the greatest warrior of the Unberogen, even before attaining his shield in battle."
Now the Unberogen believed that a warrior was first truly born when he had obtained hes shield, wich could only be obtained on the batlefield [this info can be found in the lore books about Empire] Wich means the orginal image of the warrior priest actualy is not a warrior priest... before he obtains hes shield (guys we are all fakes!!! oh nooooooo).
now that I have stated my Claim and build some facts under it it's time to strike some finishing blows here and there:

as you can se we have the traditional hammer, book but whats that? is that hes SHIELD! indeed since hes a trues warrior priest and follower of Sigmar Heldenhammer and the tradition of the unberogen!
Now even more proof that the developers of warhammer actualy had some kind of though about implenting this in the game is, if you go to T2 RvR and go to the castle, you will notice something truly epic! So why write a
long post about a simple lore mistake? well thats cause I would love to see warrior priests get acces to the shield in RoR!
This is where a whole new discussion begins.
1: the first discussion is to prove that warrior priests are ment to wear shields.
2: the second is now to argue of why it should be put into our lovley RoR.
We all seen the discussion about how WP grace and wrath are going on( if not you should read up on those some inresting idears there). Now I believe we can fix some of theyse problems by implenting a shield into their arsenal! think about it for a while, people think the Wp get killed to fast cause it's not tanky enough! well give them a shield make them more tanky... ok that was the worst argument ever... I think I will need to do better to convince you guys.
Gosh here we go. Well we all know how there is a flaw in the WP when your playing Wrath, IT does not generate enough fury! now if we could give shields stats that looked like the book but would instead give some more preferabe stats then wilpower like thougness, they could be used to generate fury per second(the shields that is). now the only problem I face here is... ehh we would need to discard the 2H hammer and makes some enourmess changes to get this implented and I can simply not argue or even image myself how this should be done. so this is where I ask this community for some idears and thoughts on this matter!
