Can we have a way to prevent people running solo in a group of their own in scenarios?. I know this was somehow addressed in a previous patch but I still see people benefiting and farming medallions -I assume- from running solo.
Look,I don't care if it's in RvR but in SC it is selfish because they are occupying someone else's slot who is a group player and willing to contribute to the group and benefit from the group to improve each other's survivability and performance.
It's getting ridiculous and is detrimental. This last scenario had 2 maguses and a shammy each one of them in their own group. People running solo don't get guard, they don't get group heals or buffs etc and they don't contribute theirs in return.

There is no group play in scenarios (especially on destro side). Ppl seem to be clueless, don't look around, focus wrong targets and don't cap bases.
I played some scenarios yesterday and it is tragedy. Destro takes barracks, order takes the lighthouse and fortress. Meanwhile destro gets locked between fortress and barracks and tries to kill tanks from order. What happens next is one guy from order goes barracks and solo caps it, no one cares. Order controls three bases and destro keeps on attacking the tanks untill they finally die or destro gets wiped. Why the hell would you do that? If you cannot take fortress why not to go lighthouse and then fortress when they take barracks? Why you don't retake barracks when it's contested?
You want to know why ppl play solo? Because that's how they contribute to the group. When destro wins a scenario it's pure luck. When there is map with base capping I go straight for the lighthouse: I kill the 1 guy who wants to cap barracks on my way and cap lighthouse, now order has to go back to retake it, usually around 3-4 ppl, that is already 3-4 enemies less in the fortress at the cost of 1 guy less on destro side making it easier to cap. Usually when destro manages to cap fortress I'm already dead but that allows us to push lighthouse and kill the small group left there. And that is how we win.
If there was a group play it would be different, there is no target marking, no communication and if you tell ppl who to attack they don't do it anyway. I don't know how you see it but as there is completely no coordination playing solo makes no difference whatsoever. 10 matches I played yesterday and I got a great group only 2 times- tanks and melee were holding enemy tanks and melee back, ranged finished of healers and rdps proceeding to killing their melee, really easy matches. In the other 8- disaster.
To sum up: ppl play solo out of frustration.

Some people play solo because they haven't the friends to bring along.

Sometimes you better stay alone instead of herding monkeys.
Don't punish solo play because people only do it, when their teammates are not worth the hassle.
Give incentives to form premade groups (in general, not warbands) and the people less likely play solo.

How you want to fix in-group leeching? With a solo kill you earn the kill xp yourself. People in a party doing nothing earn the shared xp with no effort as long as all others are capable of carrying their dead weight. People didnt go solo because their teammates are idiots, people went solo because if you had a class that could get KB easily you could steal all exp,rp and loot for you and you alone. Stop discussing gameplay issues, when you can't even name the main issue, which leads to certain player behavior.
At first flawed code and bugs have to be fixed to create a working basement to talk about topics like this one.
Fix the inherent bugs and this all becomes a non-issue.
