RVR is for zerging clowns, that can't actually play their class properly, and rely on weight of numbers to accomplish even the simplest of tasks. But that's okay cause it's just a time killer until the zone flip, and people start queuing for SC's again.

I enjoy WAR because it's a great PVP game, with excellent PVP mechanics. I enjoy utilizing those mechanics as often as possible, sc's are a great way to have constant action. Forcing people to play RVR when they don't want to, just to get BIS should be removed from the game entirely.
Easy there on ad hominem, that man was right.
Wasn't meant to be serious, just a point.

i like volgo's suggestions on caledor wood scens giving x amount of medallions per y amount of wins

also as said before: having a small amount of medallions drop in scenarios won't stop rvr being the best way to farm them/renown, so i don't see why people who never do scenarios are disapproving of such changes as it would not affect their beloved rvr and would allow people who prefer smallscale to play exclusively that.

Its still called a PvP/RvR MMO and not a PvDoor, SiegevSiege game.
Im not sure where the devs want to bring this "new" game to but i once heard them promise they will keep the RvR and mechanics the same as Live.
How i see it evolving atm is a carebear new game best suited for the casuals, lazy players who prefer to avoid pvp.
If you want to make lazy criticisms, can you do it in the right thread so that I don't have to derail this one to destroy you? Thank you.

Well it would :) If the drop rate of medallions in scen is so low that scen lovers need oRvR to get gear, it is pointless to implement. If it is high enough so that they can gear out of scens only, it'll reduce the RvR population. I can't let that happen to my playground 8-)

I think the dev's stance in the past was to force players to play both Orvr and Instanced PvP (sc) to get the best gear for your character. Can't find the specific thread or post but you see the general idea with how scenario weapons are the BiS and the purple bag jewel drops from keeps are BiS are gotten in ORvR keep takes. ;)

if that's the case, then fair enough and I'll respect that decision. food for thought, if nothing more!

hm what fact is u never can gain dat renown in scs what u can get in orvr i think thats rly not so cool 4 ppl that play more scs than orvr
Soloing rvr 1 kill = 1 sc renown thats not fair in my eyes .

So give less renown in orvr or more in scs to blance it out .
me personal like scs more than orvr and its hard to get some renown .. 20 scs about 8-10k renown thats rly nothing

The goal is to make both parts of the game so fun and good that every player WANTS to play it not must be forced to via incentives.
- Martock - Tiggo - Antigonos - Mago - Hamilkar - Melquart

For the Guys who said Open gives more RR than SCs.

I made maybe 0.2% renown (rr44) in about 30min in a closed bomber WB, and we killed a lot of enemys. Each gave me like 1-10rps.

Other day with premade SC grp and a nice win streak 14 x ~450rps/sc = ~6300rps. In 1.5-1.75hour -+.

Thats 10% for my current rr44, while open at the time spent would give me around 1% maybe 4% if we take a keep.

just my experience.

The only difference between our statements is mine is truth and yours is some made up bullshit in a failed strawman argument.
