so equip does play a little role, as strength has to be high to avoid the blocking?

Even if the opponents str is high the tank would still have block proc as it rolls with every attack the chances of 3 fights and 0 blocks is extremely low

A normal shield in T1 has about 20% blockchance iirc. I think the common strength/intelligence/whatever values you face atm in T1 strip about 15% from that value, leaving you with almost no blockchance (not completely sure on the values, please correct if wrong).

This should change on higher levels with more block/parry/whatever available through abilities/tactics and renown abilities working (+ epic shieldz ofc :D).

It is 50/50 with some advantage to the SnB IB, so maybe more like 60/40 in favour of IB. WE can defeat but it's defiantely not easy and combat is so close that few crits / parries / blocks can decide whether it's win or lose.

Of course I am talking about a situation when WE attack from stealth. It WE does not then WE chances drop much more.

IB did something bad if he got wrecked easily. Assuming of course that both were well geared.

You are not correct. Like I said before, assuming that both tank & WE are similarly well equipped and well played with similar skill level, then WE definately does not wreck tanks easily.

I.e. Kotbs should wreck and destroy WE 1v1. He will simply dps down WE quicker than WE can dps Kotbs down, even with armor penetration and feinted positioning. If he is not then he is doing something wrong or WE is very lucky.

SnB IB on the other hand, even with relatively small block value still have a lot of survi and with it's utility have higher chance in WEvsIB fight.

Never get the WH/WE in the back or you die easy do not letting them get in the right position or you are a dead man its all about how you play in combat style if you just stand there and letting them take the advantage.....well then its your fault that you will prolly lose the fight simple :D

Which a smart wh/we will counter a runners movement and land the snare isnt hard to do with basic knowledge of kiting

If its 50/50-60/40 u are playing it plently bad. The WE/WH class is meant to stand-alone drop out stealth, kill someone and return to stealth. If by any chance has to face more then the posibilities drop, but no.......... in a 1vs1 u are supposed to win ALLWAYS or u are doing it plenty bad.

Your strght here in t1, around 200-250, completely cancel the shields. They could have a death rat in that hand and they would get the same defense out of it. The reason why KoBS looks harder to kill is cuase it debuff ur strght and the increase block rate hit. When coupled with a shield is most likely the only class able to block attacks from a WE, or any SnB tank under his aura, as long as the aura debuff/buff is the important part out of it. STILL u are supposed to drop out of stealth and kill him in a 1vs1.

Severals vs severals now thats other thing. The class have an insane burst and alpha dmg and will get inta-focused once spotted, so will most likely allways be the first to die, also cause the health pool is quite low, as supposed from the class that can kill anything in a duel.
