To note is that if I change file attributes to "System", an error is displayed in the Launcher, regarding permissions.

Thus, even if I change all the files attributes through CMD, I see a Square marking the "Read Only" attribute in Properties. Thus, "Read only" is not the problem on itself. I still try executing as admin with no results.

ONE QUESTION: what if the client mirror source file (torrent, in this case), wasn't set to "Read Only" ?
I'll try downloading the compressed files. Uncompressing them in my own operating system might help with permissions etc. I'll post my results here.


POST UPDATE: I've tried installing the client and shooting the launcher in another computer which runs in windows 7. My problems dissapeared, apart from the server being DDos'ed and malfunctioning at this moment... so my conclusion is that you can't properly run the launcher in Windows XP.

I don't know why some People can Play when Server is up. For me it's still red/yellow. I don't know what I did wrong during instalation. I removed Game from uTorrent, does it's wrong Or just some problems with Windows XP?

Probably because the last Day's Server are DOWN, and now are Down again, i suggest wait a bit and try again....

Or try with "MiniRoR" launcher just serach on google: miniror launcher and done to JeFlawk or similar name site web i forgot

The issue has nothing to do with the server being down, it happens just as well when the server is up. Additionally, using the miniRoR launcher does not resolve anying. I'm fairly certain it's an OS related issue, seeing how only people playing on Windows XP and Linux seem to have it.

The launchers do work on Windows XP. I can't say for certain what the cause is at this point.

Don't worry about it man, it didn't work. Strange i can log into DAOC private server, GW2, Batmud, WOW, AOC, SWOTOR, SWGEMU but not this game. I've never tried Warhammer before but given that there's 20 other online games that i can log into, i think i'll just move on, sadly.

Sorry, I have to point out that It isn't strange at all. Unless otherwise stated by the folks who host a game, private game servers are in no way associated with each other what-so-ever. They are just hosted by a private party. That is why they call it a "Private Server".
