Do you think an extra +5% damage for WLs (or 10% crit damage that should stack with Pack Synergy, making it 60%) would be ok?

As for the Black Orcs, i don't think it would be a problem.

GW are supposed to hand in survivability for burst damage when compared to SnB (tanks), it is widely accepted the burst potential gained is not in balance with survivability lost.

GW are supposed to hand in (to a lesser extend) survivability and long term damage when compared to duel wielding, again it is widely accepted the burst potential gained is not in balance with the survivability and long term damage lost.

I do agree with you that perhaps this has to be looked at per archetype/career.

Which is why i asked you about WLs. I agree with an increase on 2H damage for tanks (and DPS WP too).

But not really sure about WLs...

I would like to see more BURST damage on 2handers (and damage dropping off quicker the longer the fights endure), not overall damage increase. Again, the burst potential has more effect on WL than on Tanks, agreed. Hence i agree with you that Tanks and Mdps have to be looked at seperately.

why not change the weapon type of all WL 2hs to te same as that used by ams and stuff so that this change will not affect them?

this would simply remove all wl related potential balance issues that could come from this discussion

This would give them more damage and defence so its not that simple really.

I agree here. I think we removed 2H mdps from the equation here. WL, SL, Choppa. Much easier to balance around 2H tanks and give them 5% crit damage IMO. It wont be game breaking but will provide the burst that it seems people are looking for

The problem with changing SL/Chop is that iirc those 2 share the 2h weapons they have access to with blorc/ib respectively

got an idea

As penril said the most of the problems are on 2h + guard and the lack of shield.

Thinking as a 2h as a bigger treat of a s+b a dps get distract by hit and by his movement so his accuracy is reduced: so...

what if 2h tanks can also dodge and disrupt guarded attacks, this way we would solve 1 problem just for 2h tanks with out impact the 2h efficency for melee due the fact that guard only apply to tanks.

2h tank--> more agile can parry /dodge attacks easier
s+b tanks ---> more immovable get bonus around the shield (hold the line etc)

Also this way a 10% dodge would be fully justified making 2h tanks better vs melee and physic attacks but not fine vs magic casters.
Regard that most tanks have counter tactics which also increase disrupt or give some buff after had disrupted ; so i feel that matter is alredy balanced. Furthermore the change should not aim to make useless hold the line which 2h tanks can still benefith from 3 tanks so buff only dodge is better for me.

Kek'd. You do know that BG can easily reach 50%+ disrupt? This together with a 20% Parrychance .. mhh

Dodge for Guard isnt that good either. Especially since you can reach 18% dodge alone with 20 points of renown.
