-slayer rampage needs rage and will delay your dmg, does not necessarily stay on you as an enchantment
-slayer doesnt stack parry either, rr wise sh can do the same, slayer has 10% more through dual wield, both would lose dmg
-sh with guard is at least as tough as slayer with guard
-the sh dmg is fine and consistant while you would spamm debuffs (no dmg) and drop rage on slayer (specc parry too)
-dmg comparison based on what? random wbs?
-you need more slayers than sh to even remotely have a chance of keeping sl up
-prayer procs? wtf? every bit helps i guess in these hour long wb fights
-less wps more cs, fine with me

So lets see, a slayer that constantly drops rage, spamming debuffs instead of flurry, with perma cs, specced into anti crit and parry does more dmg than an ae spamming sh. Interesting.

We are seriously comparing SH to Slayer now? Geez must be really buttmad 'bout my SL :lol:

Nanji was the one who argued that you could use cleanse this way without any negative impact in wb vs wb situations. I see in his follow up post that he still confuses 6v6 with 24v24.

It is as if he has never played a healer. Maybe he hasn't. He certainly doesn't understand the balance between cleansing and healing and the choices that need to be made.

It is a purely theoretical discussion, in "reality" both side will do a bit of both. In the end you try to kill a target without important debuffs like boiling blood, hd or SL on your side.
For the first 20s.
With equal skill the order grp will be pressured 20s while destro is in charge, hard to come back from this.

@nanji that ramapge drop your rage is not an argument, rampage can last 20 sec and after 10 sec you alredy have + 25% of damage if not even 50%, which mean you just have to re apply shatter limbs and then drop the aoe with 50% damage more or do everything when 25% damage more with 0 trade off .... as when you apply dots you need rage on lol, even if here can be different as dot damage = the conditions which they are apply and so they don't scale if your damage increase later, but on live it wasn't this way and since you never bother to talk about that i image you not wanted to.

-so on live you applied the other aoe dot and ID( both undefitable ) but then he done 50% more damage when rage goes up.
ID if i not mistake made proc wp buff, i don't call it 3 hit combo for nothing.

-dont bother talk about wp/dok procs, they were a reason why melee train were so strong on live.

-i had a choppa you can cap str have a 40-45% armor pen and also 30-40% parry sy.

-couple all of this with slayer can hit 9 ppl with ID which hit like a truck , while sguig can hit most of his time 3 ppl and consequentialy do not proc so many dok proc as slayer does.

- squig do not have a 50% damage increase meccanic cos it's not suppose to be a melee hence, this comparions was alredy lost when you told a sh can do the slayer work better.

-Shatter limbs was something to make interesting aoe path, not to make it OP the presence of both ID and SL is a bane for slayer, choppa fasta was nerfed for a reason and our pull is not good as id may be in combat ( you dont pull ppl when they are alredy in cc to just give them free immunity) so i dont get really why Sl should not be nerfed also.

-About choppa pull, is bug atm there are no immunity , never worked this well on live. Atm it pull the nearest ppl and not at random distance 1 by 1 with the correct delay.

Morale control is more important then gcd's in a wb fight but /shrug

long time ago when we have guild warbands we have like 2 SH which can do almost same dmg like bombing sorc in city siege (in lol melee spec spaming one ability and bad gas) but in normal game is boring spec :D

btw no wb vs wb fight tka longer then 1min = rush in, aoe pull drop morales and kill few survivers

btw most problem what i see as inbalance in RoR is order aoe snare (all order tank have acces on in, sadly on destro only BG) and i realy hate range KD (yes slayer can do insane dmg but you can manage it SL with good healer and good positioning isnt so much problem too, but as destro i never go normal speed:(

SM has no AOE snare, BO can spec for a tactic to get a spamable AOE snare, the orders AOE snares are easier available though.
