13pts ability, random, 30 feet range on 30s CD?

High risk abilty on a high risk class and a buff to reduce cool down on chop fasta would make wreka tree viable

But i cant wait to hear all the stupid **** people will say against this, i got called out several times by tomato and co for suggesting this :D

30ft AoE + jump to offensive target (if exists) every tick, possibly with modified duration / # of ticks.

Alternatively, jump to offensive target when ability is cast + 30ft channel AoE + some kind of personal defense.

Imagine the fun! And of course, it fits the helicopter theme.

That's because choppa doesn't really need buffs.

It would work better, or let you be more effective if defenders didnt have champ mobs to hide behind

Azarael wrote:I did indeed troll on that thread. I've been in two minds for a long time about whether to start trying to enforce quality of discussion, and if I decide to, that will end up making me a hypocrite in retrospect. That's unavoidable.

Let me be more clear. While I disdain "l2p" "qq" etc. bullshit as irritating cancer, I do not expect that I will be able to purge all instances of low quality posting from the forum without impacting its activity. I'm sure you're aware that the degree of forum moderation required / permissible is a function of the number of users on the forum. Therefore, I'm setting out that posting cancerous rubbish specifically to defend bugs and exploits is impermissible.

I'm aware that you already posted suggestions. That doesn't invalidate that the post that I removed was, in fact, trolling. Again, I'm well aware that players who have already posted crap are going to get away with having done so, but the line has to be drawn somewhere.

DM will be fixed when I get to it on the tracker.
Using your same logic, a white lion retains high burst if pounce is disabled. What does a magus do if rift is disabled without being compensated for that loss? You're actually showing your full blown Order bias at this moment.
Nice one, but I explicitly said that if Engineer and Magus are one-dimensional, they should be buffed elsewhere instead of being allowed to keep Rift and EM. It should not be the case for any class in this game that disabling a single 13pt mastery ability kills it off, and that at least is not my fault - it's Mythic's.
The reality is people will continue to bitch and moan about pulling abilities, just like they did on live. It only stops when those abilities get removed, but that's unrealistic. If you disable or put severe restrictions on rift based on feedback, yet ignore pounce based on the argument of "No one has convinced me", then once again that's just bias on your end. No one should have to convince you to fix/patch something that doesn't work live like.

Rifting through walls/doors is not live like, absolutely. Pouncing up keeps at any angle is also not working live like. For the record, I have no problem with pounce. But, your whole "convince" me post irked me. Especially with all the pounce threads that have been posted here.

The choppas AoE tree is garbage and the class is inferior to slayer
