getting dc every time with main character

So, phantom of my character will stay in-game even after server restarts?

No, but the issue will manifest again within about 10 minutes of the restart, so you'll just be back here complaining.

what's funny is i had the same problem, but then it sort of....righted itself when i got that "- is recruiting!" message. that's not reason enough not to fix it, but at least there's hope!

The problem fixes itself after a few minutes when the server realizes that the character is AFK and automatically logs you out.
