Mandreds Keep Seige Fail 11/13/15

Mandreds Keep Seige Fail 11/13/15

Everyone that died during this would crash to desktop when accepting the ressurection. They would come back and couldnt even activate their tactics. Destro kept CTDing over and over for various reasons, from releasing after death or accepting a teleport and casting an AoE heal. What a waste of pots....

Order was hardly CTDing during this keep seige. I did a keep seige like this a week ago and we actually took it, I got over 170k renown from it. I CTD'ed twice during that keep take and I was healing, we were lucky to have got it. Today there was even more destro and even more order, we all got wiped because the CTD. To think of what RP we WOULD have won if this server was up to par.

I think you must fix this horrible performance and these bugs before teasing us with T3. If you release T3 when the server is like this, it will be aweful and people will lose interest in the game.

Im sure people crashed but the main reason you didnt manage to take the keep was that not all warbands in the keep were intrerested in taking it. Some guild was chilling in the ground floor "farming" renown from order in the big ramp.

Sure performance was a bit sluggish, but hey its fun anyways.

I logged for lunch before work because it seemed hopeless, we had enough to take it just no one would work together. I tried several times to get everyone on the same page all ignored....

so we have one thread accusing devs of delaying t3 for no reason and this thread now demanding devs dont release t3 for that reason ...

lose lose situation i guess ^^

Keep bitching about what devs should or shouldn't do and you'll never get lag fixed nor t3... It's a bloody alpha with volunteers developing it. Just be happy to be able to play at all. Or take a break and come back in 3 months...

Oh my look at you. You sure know more than the staff.
If you gonna go say that it's just a suggestion, i SUGGEST you don't do that cause the tone of your post is just disrespectful. And yes we all know you wanted it to sound like that, we also know that after a few posts against you, you will say it's just a suggestion and you didn't mean any disrespect with it.

There are better ways to approach this rather than demanding something that you don't pay a penny for. I also don't agree about t3 being released until stability is better fine tuned, but it looks like majority of people want t3 to be released. Those same people will be the ones complaining about stability later of course.

The fact everyone and even the dev Azarael said what they said in this topic, I find it even harder to have any hopes this server will ever be any better then it is now. I guess I give up in hoping for something better, for now on I am just gonna join everyone and only roam and do sc's and not bother with keep takes, I am going to camp the mailbox too. Also I am going to post in the forums on this website making fun of every single person who ever has a thought or suggestion or feedback that a 6 year old girl might find offensive. I am going to tell them they are idiots, trolls, and crybabies, and I will cheer as the devs themselves take my side.

Keep takes on a properly configured server with good networking is for dumb noobs and trolls. and ANYONE who disagrees with me is 8 years old.

Nobody is criticizing your complaints or concerns, because they are valid. What people are criticizing is your tone. I understand your inability to distinguish the two, on account of being an asshat, but let me demonstrate how you could have conveyed the same thought with less of a backlash:
During a keep take today, I noticed that there are some very apparent bugs with crashing to desktop when accepting a resurrection. Players with this bug would come back and couldn't even activate their tactics. It seems like this bug disproportionately affects Destro, but I have not tested this. Perhaps it is a bug with the specific res abilities?

I know that you are addressing the lag before releasing T3, but I think that bugs like this are more important. I am concerned that if T3 launches with these bugs, it will drive players away worse than any lag. I have posted this bug to the bugtracker, but I wanted to open this thread too, to discuss this concern

Note the italicized bits? Those are pretty important. This approach comes off as less abrasive, and emphasizes that your main purpose in creating this thread was certainly not to bring attention to the bug (that's what the tracker is for, and I'm sure you knew that already), but to emphasize that in your opinion this bug impacts the player experience more than the issues we are currently focused on.

If you have a critical if not common weakness, like being so thoroughly compelled to lash out with accusations of fanboyism and sycophancy, and to act like the kind of payer GMs with itchy fingers are eager to ban, it is especially important to protect that weakness from being exploited like it was in this thread.
