What this change intentional? Why were their levels raised to 51 and 40? clearing out the 3rd floor is literally impossible now, this leave the BW/Sorc to rain aoe down on you with impunity. This also allows healers to sit in the complete safety of the third floor with monsters that one shot any would be attackers.

All the serious aoe need LoS, Rain of Fire and it's sorc counterpart, does joke damage and is only dangerous to players without any healing.
Guess what you see all the time at keeps. Low-life players who get no healing, because all solo.
Dying is no option.

I mean, what is the advantage of having a safe place with guards one shotting you to where you can run between bursts? Nothing, i tell you, this youngsters dont even know what Polio is!

Sulorie is right.
From solo and grp pov - being solo u have absolutely no chance to survive cuz even few random aoe would drop you in no time. Once in grp with guard + grp heal its ok unless there is a lot of BWs. (is there any other class defending these days btw ?

Problem is people see there is zerg going for a keep and they head there, find no open wb so they either stand on ground floor yelling for heal and res, being killed over and over by BWs and respawning npcs.
Hell...its bloody team game. Or zerg game. Just make open wb on yer own, try to invite some people standing around and aoe wont be that huge problem.

Nah you just told people to lolrush the keep lord while they get hammered from the top and when someone brought up to you that aoe may be an issue you just gave the usual "lol u bad" retort.Sulorie wrote:I didn't start the whine about aoe dmg.
Because somehow having a safe haven from where you can rain aoe on people fighting a keep lord is a non issue.
I mean, what can do multiple bw/sorc, sw/sh and eng/magus do to the guys attacking the keep lord while using m2? Nothing, no one ever has died to that and is surely not a common tactic right?
Because thanks the magic of teamwork, the guards one shotting people will magically stop being an issue, aoe will stop raining down and peace will be achieved once again!
