I placed purple fragments for 100g (Order AH) and within seconds they were ALL gone. Literally not even 30 seconds after I placed them I had 400g sitting at the Mailbox (which I didn't think anyone would buy in the first place lol).

Last time this happened gold was wiped (which would be fine in this case). It's not like gold is important when it's overly abundant.

Please dont wipe mats. Some of us have spent days worth of time cultivating. I think gold would even be unnecessary. The fact is that in order for this economy to work there have to be people who have insane amounts of gold. They will use that gold to buy gear, spreading the wealth. And the ones that don't don't affect the economy. It's quite simple trickle down economics. Because no one accumulates interest and there is no capital gains mechanic the 1% won't cause any problems. If anything it benefits the population as a whole.

trickle down economics doesn exist furthermore we saw what happend last time their was agold exploit, prices shot up due to inflation that punished new players trying to get gear a gold and potential item wipe + exploit fix is necessary

If someone bought a bunch of gear with all that gold...wouldn't you want that to be wiped?
