Pull to zerg tactic was one of the most bs tactics. I hope TE is removed, keep the wl pull tho, being tied to the pet is hardly reliable and it kinda gives wl's something to shout about.

All the good Destro guilds ran 2 Chosen or 1Ch/1BG, 2 marauders, and 2 doks. If the class was balanced or missing something they would have had another mDPS in the group. It was just too strong. Look at order:
Three things

1) We (TFC) ran 3 Maras once for lolz (myself Avelyes and Tenjen) against a group that brought a Runie & AM. In almost every other fight we ran 1-3-2 and (Brettoelli (or sometimes Vengum) on Chosen or Grulo on BO, Haxalot (Vengum) on Choppa, me on Mara, TKLees on his WE, Av on DoK and Bram on Zealot).

Haxalot was the main dps along with TK, I was mainly debuffing since they could spike damage well beyond what I could on the Mara in the endgame Meta

2) Foof shows a real understanding of the Mara class and where it fits in to the overall scheme/meta. I'd go one further (talking T4), and say that the bugged abilities (DC, PB & FoF) made it a touch OP, but not by much. Even fixing ALL those bugged abilities may nerf it too heavily for the endgame meta. I agree that some other classes need to be balanced up

3) TE and Fetch were both very unreliably implemented (any notion that TE worked more than 30% of the time or ANY time at all when there was the slightest Z-axis difference between Mara and target is very misguided). I feel there is a place for this ability in the game.

Going one further, I'd also be in favor of the devs mirroring Pounce to Destro, implementing defensive pull (perhaps with a reduced z-axis differential to stop people using it to exploit terrain) and defensive pounce and really give the meta some unique ways to play out/build groups (this is Alpha after all, and the server is Aza/Nalgols canvas as far as abilities go, we could test it out and see if we couldnt give IB/BG and to a larger degree SM/BO a stronger reason to be included in groups)

@xaun Whom on destro would you give pounce. Since i would not give it a class that can spam ae. I am just curious.

Well obv not WE, that would be ridiculous.

Personally I'd give it to the Choppa as I think it would be more in keeping (but perhaps more logically the Mara and take away something like the Armor pen reduction on Monstro or the heal leech on Deadly Clutch)

Not sure what you are getting at by saying not a class that could spam AE as they are unrelated (WL can spec Whirling Axe if it so chose - should we remove Pounce from WL?).

(btw Mara AE dmg is awful, Choppa ST is strong and AE is average, whereas Slayer AE is v.strong)

All that being said, I will post something in the coming weeks with a more holistic overview/suggestion and inter-class synergy, as micro changes still for the most part need to be looked at in the grander scheme of things

give choppa pounce, make it replace get to the choppa, with this and a reduction on cd to chop fasta! choppas aoe tree will finally be viable

mara pouncing is much more broken than choppa as mara is still a durable class, choppa is a melee glass cannon who due to the inherent nature of pounce will be over extending and leaping out of guard range; so high risk/high reward

if you want to take away leech heal from deadly clutch thenn you need to give it something else that make it more worth while than 50% debuff, why not make it so that the tatic will make tainted claws duration increase by 5s

so 15s 50% debuff with ailment and 10s without

Why cant you just accept that Destro has no pounce at all? Order also has no 5sec KD or op DoK m2 or whatever blabla. Your minds are all in so small boxes its astonishing.

@Xaun You can not compare whirling axe with choppa AE hehe. Choppa can spam AE and whirling axe is really bad and has a big CD. And WL has AP problems. choppas with pounce and rage AE would be too strong in my eyes.
The WL should have an usp and this is pounce. Like marauder has his usp.
All depends though what changes will happen in the Future.
