Re: new player dps question and guilds
I would certainly consider IB, I just want something I can compete with later on as well as just starting out. When I talk abut being self sufficient I am mainly referring to pve levelling and not rvr. I know in rvr I will mainly need to group.
So a few questions
How are IB with 2handers for dps? I don't need the best, just cometetive and fun.
How are they for tanking?
How sought after are they?

2hander dps right now for tanks isn't bad but i would say most prefer if tanks run with SnB unless they are exceptional. You can definitely kill some stuff with a 2hander IB but with SnB you get much more survivability and it seriously helps with guarding your team. They are the sturdiest of all order tanks. And nobody would say no to a IB with all the CC they bring to the table so they are quite sought after.Quik wrote:I would certainly consider IB, I just want something I can compete with later on as well as just starting out. Now over all i agree how ever iron breakers are one of the most durable tanks in the game and furthermore every single one of their grp utility buffs are still their so their "viable"Dioxin wrote: 2hander dps right now for tanks isn't bad but i would say most prefer if tanks run with SnB unless they are exceptional. If you play a dwarf of any class you would be welcomed in the 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers!
We have currently two slots open in the Roster.

And us in Action:
On the Events the Ironbreakers usually go with shield and one hand to protect the Engineer Line from Damage.
In SCs or Boss Lairs we go on 2h.

Re: new player dps question and guilds
- In my experience any class is viable for pve leveling. Non-dps healers (so anything except WP and DOK) may take a bit longer to kill things, but they still get the job done.Quik wrote:I would certainly consider IB, I just want something I can compete with later on as well as just starting out. - IB 2H damage is ok, you'll never be on par with a real mdps class, though.
- IB are amazing tanks. One of the best in the game, imo.
- IB are very wanted, their group buffs and overall utility are, again imo, the best in the game, on order side.
