It was definitelly a bug. See THAT kill for exapmle...

But it lasted only in the fight in elf. When we moved out it dissappeared.

without naming anyone, seems like some people on destro got 2-4 ranks of RR in a day or so.

coincidence? now, some peeps have assured me they are not getting extra renown, but that's something GMs/devs should maybe check as destro had way over a warband and order was kinda just running around unformed so best case scenario, no one should have AAO or order in this case (judging from how fast D took BV just now)

Does seem super exploity if you had to fly to another zone to get the buff and then didn't report that bug.

I was askign for a GM online but I found noone. I do not like to exploit and I hate exploiters. At 1st it was ALMOST believable that Order had the numbers, but NO WAY 4 timers our numbers. Forex claimed theere were many afkers, but it was unconvinsing.

Basically the events that happened:

On the order side we saw a 400% AAO buff and were in an argument over why destro had it when, although outnumbered, destro definitely had enough people to make 400% seem out of place. Someone in Advice channel said on a stream the renown from each kill was also showing what it would be if they had the buff (Not solely a UI issue).

Shortly after, same guy said it was activated by running to IC in BV and they suddenly get the buff, then could go wherever and still keep it. Myself and Mamimi went to IC and ran around it, the area, swam around, went to LH and keep and nothing for order. Went back to Elf lands and close to every destro had the buff (Some xrealmers as well...aka obvious level 1 running around t2 leeching the exp). Someone in advice switched to destro and said they got the buff just by logging in (would explain why suddenly the entire destro side had it).

After the zone flipped back to BV it seems the buff has stopped, at least for now, however I am not sure if that fixed it or not.

Not attacking anyone, but this is just what happened from my point of view. I don't know the specifics of AAO, however I do know that nobody is dumb enough to think a 400% AAO buff isn't out of place when you're with ~18-28 other people. Especially when the servers aren't terribly uneven.

Oh wait I totally forgot about the 250 Order AFK's we had sitting in our warcamp...
