Lair info

i am wondering if ppl go around and kill the Lair npc in the different area. the letter between R and T on my keyboard broke. hard to find alot of word that dont need it.

Yeah they are killed quite frequently.

Regarding your keyboard . . . Get a new one and let the old RIP . . . But that might not be a real solution in your case :)

Are we talking here about the lvl 10 heroes or the lvl 40 heroes?
I would be quite interested how you tank something that makes 16.669 damage every hit.

Edit:
This is no unbelieval critic, I REALLY want to know how to deal with that amount of damage. :)

Guard on an IB halfes it, but still 8000 damage is insane.
I would be very thankfull for any reports on which party killed one of the lair monsters.

Yesterday we killed the Vampire in the RvR Zone Chaos-Imp LvL12 Hero.
We had one BO, he died a lot, we died a lot, but we managed to kill him.
The drops was dissapointing. 1 Seed, 1 Crap, 1 Blue something...

tri guard and lots of heals

Having a lot of defence such as block and parry helps alot. What we used to do when tanking on the live serverers (i was a blackguard), was that i specced these: http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=bg; ... :;;0:0:0:0: to make sure that the boss would not land as few hits as possible. That + 1 guard and a rotation with another tank on the nasty ones.

No problemo.

I guess your answer implies that guard doesnt stack?

So If one slayer has three guards on him and is hit by 1000 damage.

He takes 500 and every IB 500?

No. The closest Tank should receive the 500 damage, while the other 2 get nothing. Either that, or (i am not sure how Aza implemented it though) the guard that was applied first/last will have the only effect. Never bothered testing which is the actual one working though

I believe you can have guard from two different sources currently.
