Best duo?

Me and a buddy come from daoc and are looking to start out mainly duo. Scenarios, and rvr. Pve a little when and if it gets to that point.

Can anyone recommend a good 2vX duo ?

Can you narrow it down for us to Order or Destruction?

I will tell you now, my brother and I recently returned and our DoK/Zealot combo ping-ponging heals back and forth is nasty and annoying as hell to enemies.

Chosen + Marauder

Chosen and Melee DoK is a very good combo. The Chosen's resist auras help his damage (Spirit) and DoK's damage (Spirit). The DoK can toss a few heals the Chosen's way but mostly they can tank and deal damage fast enough where it doesn't come to that.
