Account compromised by hackers

My account was compromised between September 22 and 23, resulting in the loss of a significant amount of gems and currency.
I never shared my account details with anyone; this was my own oversight.
I am wondering if it is possible for a hacker to compromise an account by injecting a Trojan horse through the UI.
I am sharing this to warn other users so they can avoid falling victim to the same thing.

It wasn't anything as intentional as that, compromised accounts were accessed randomly through a bug. The vast majority of people who ran into the bug just logged out and logged back into their own account. The bad actor involved continued to try and abuse it, we were alerted, and it was patched shortly after.

If you had MFA enabled on your account, it would have prevented access. We will have a write-up soon, and restoration where possible.

Same problem for me here as well. Both of my accs were suspended this night due to hackers activity and etc. Messaged @MaxHayman in discord (screenshots of notifications added). Appreciate your help in advance.

The same thing happened to me, but without an account ban; they just stole my consumables and gold from the game. I'm also waiting for further updates.
