Why are you following the zerg?
Use the PvE exits—they're in every zone.
Because rest of the zone is empty. There should be more worthy events on the map so ppl move and split numbers. Devs should bring back small scale into orvr cos atm it is totally obliterated
Mostly harmless

Of course I agree with you.
But even in this kind of game (AOE, Zerg-friendly), I only play small-scale and don’t follow the Zerg, so it’s doable.
If a small-scale group follows the Zerg, then it’s not small-scale.

WC farming is the saddest and most boring thing in this game.

Use the other exits, there are many ways to enter every zone (thank you wonderful devs). There are skaven tunnels etc. You are only limited by your imagination. For instance, if there was a giant wood chipper outside your front door, do you just refuse to use the back door because "thats always the way I go"? Please.

Outside your warcamp is the most beneficial place to fight. You have ballista that repeatedly shoot for 3k+ dmg, you get Warcamp buff, you have a safe fall back behind lvl 55 champs. This is the greatest position with which to launch a counterattack! Build morale and push!

If you choose to sit in the entrance of your warcamp and get farmed when it is quite literally your own fault (because as we have we have discussed, there are multiple exits OR if you choose to fight you have literally EVERY advantage in your favor) why do you think other players should be punished for doing it? Where should they kill you? Because you're just standing at the entrance of the warcamp. You choose to die there, you only have yourself to blame.

just put a wc farming debuff to reduce defense (reduce armor, toughness, outgoing/incoming heal) or give them a dot that increases its damage over time near wc so when a group wanna farm wc, they will face the consequences.

What consequences? Then you farm WC it means that there is absolutely nothing but soloers in the lakes. Last spot anyone would farm being at complete disadvantage...

Ive been part of groups farming WC. Sadly when something strong is organised then very very fast there is literally nothing to fight in the open lakes (some swap sides, some log off, those that stay dodge any fight unless they have x3-4 numbers advantage). And thats much bigger issue then wc camping.

Unless there is a chore of beforehand organising between strong groups (you go side 1, we go side 2) lakes will be onesided once stars align and strong group assembles.

No organized play, no issues. No blobs, no warcamp camps just pure chaos as it should be.

Completely the opposite! More organised play, no issues.

Stop catering all those "QoL" changes for afk pugs. Thats the main reason why we are all here. Golden conq era of RoR has been all about organisation, lots of good leaders, damn, even pugs were x99999 quality of whats running now (Ocara, Avoceti etc).

It was better even then there was no zone bag contribution and 0 rewards for losing. Everyone has been somewhat organised.

Its amazingly dumb to cater so much for carebears from design PoV. Its not some modern MMO. Its very stupid to think this game has any chance for "fresh" blood from twitch/etc, literally imagine if someone thinks that if you go with modern approach current MMO average joe will install UO?! Like cmon hahaha

This game attract specific type of people, for first and foremost, warhammer fantasy nerds. Secondly old lazy daddies getting a nostalgia kick. And third - retired old style hardcore MMO PvPers. If those 3 combine - here is your regular dweller who sometimes take breaks but is always back here.

There is a limited amount of such people and even for them, im here a good example, playing something like e.g. UO or DAoC (even tho i did play those back in a day) is very weird decision. Even i like UO or DAoC but i cant stand anymore its aestatics to actually play it reliably nowdays, even with all the nostalgia and stuff, so unless someone remakes them in something like UE5 i wont commit. Absolutely same goes for some part of warhammer fantasy nerds population being lazy daddies nowdays, so its triple factors shrinking theoretically possible population. And to consider if a) nerd b) lazy daddy but not c) pvper, so not RoR players, there are lots of such people out there.

Much smarter strategy is to make another unban wave, let everyone free, talk some veterans, make game more hardcore and attract those organised players who left because the game way too casual friendly. IMHO

The game isn't 'hardcore' anymore and probably never will be. Most organized guilds have disbanded or moved on to other games. A dwindling population and dull campaign mechanics are the main reasons why interest is dying out.
