what class after updates?

Hi guys, Im here to ask what calsses stand out or returned to "meta" after updates. Im new in this game played like for 1-2 months probably, but still didn't find class I would completely admire.
Did 2h tanks become playeble not only in small scale?
How is DoK damage feels right now?
How is Black guard after all? - Im even considering playing it as a tank (if it is good).

If you want a meta class, just play WE/WH or a ranged DPS healer (RP/Zealot being stronger than Shaman/AM atm), if you're interested in solo / small scale. Server is toxic enough as it is with hordes of these during low pop times, may as well have another one. :D

What "meta"?
Solo meta, 6v6 meta, roaming 6-man meta, 12-man meta, 24 premade meta, city meta?

What kind of gameplay you prefer: dps, support, healer?

You can do 2h tank. Some can do well in small scale, some with a regen spec can even do well in 1v1.

However, a 2h tank in a WB setting is nonsensical. When there's tons of damage pressure, the role of a tank is to soak up damage, guard an ally, and apply CC/Buffs/Debuffs. A 2h tank can't withstand the same damage as a shield tank, and can't do the same amount of damage as a proper DPS, so you're twice a liability. In some instances, a 2h tank in a WB can be desired as an off-tank like 2h KOTBS for AOE stagger, or 2h BG for Crimson Death etc, but a WB only needs one of them, and it'll likely only work if it's a voice-comms coordinated WB.

From my experience

Sorcerer is basically the worst ranged DPS in game. In full glass cannon it can sometimes deal enough damage to justify itself but more or less it's not a good option -> play any ranged dps-speced healer

2h tanks are weak overall, they don't dish out significantly more damage, the 2h weapons hardly provide additional utility -> Play SnB
2h BG is (I personally think) the worst tank of all, way too many situational skills that don't reward you enough even when used properly -> Play any other tank
