The current plan is to wait until the gear-set reitemization patch is out before properly updating the guide. There is stuff that could have already been updated but I feel it's unwise to do so while the most important aspect of itemization is still up in the air (and can severely affect weapons and jewelry choices)

Today we received confirmation that the gear-set itemization patch will happen on the next (major) patch. With them being spaced about a month from each other, we can aproximately expect it to happen some time next month. In the meantime, I can help with gearing/build advise if needed (either by a DM or from a comment here), but there is always a big disclaimer that any gear recommended now may become obsolete once the next big patch comes out.

It is highly likely that the new Moonstone Annulus rings will be BIS for SnB tanks.
e.g.


On Destro and for warband-play, it is also quite likely that Platinum + Copper will be BIS (with Gold as the next best option). Would recommend farming them during the event and especially the Platinum one since that is not available in the slightly worse LV rings.

Also, BIG REMINDER that unless you craft a 20 Metal + 10 Ore Green (rarity) ring at the start, it will never be able to be upgraded to an Annulus ring.
The only way to craft an annulus ring during the TT event is as follows:



Again, this is all speculation on my part with the publicly available information we have right now. Things could change in the next month's patch but, since I find it hard to believe that we would drift off Block META for wb-tanks, I decided to suggest getting the rings in advance.
