As gear progression improves and crit becomes more common, a 600 absorb is basically nothing. Any decent DPS setup will burst through that in milliseconds. In my opinion, it’s one of the most overrated Witch Elf tactics, and it’s pretty much useless in group play.
Are you serious? It is an incredible good tactic. That 600 absorb is more than 50% higher than the WH version and triggers off crits every 3s. You only need a weak dot ticking on you with a crit and already have a massive absorb. It is VERY good, no matter if solo, group or wb. Combine it with all the other stuff like guard, heals, other absorbs, parry, disappear, etc. and it extends your life A LOT. That it is useless vs assist trains is also not true. It procs at least 2-3 times, extending their health by 1200-1800 points. Compare that to a sorc that runs around with 7500 total health and doesn't have such absorb, or disappear...

This is not a meme absorb. It is really strong and should be lowered to WH/Zealot/WP level of 375ish. That's where it should be.

Why can't the tactic be good? I didn't say it wasn't. You're ignoring the fact that WE don't have a parry ability to hide behind. I literally addressed this in the post you quoted. It should be better than the Empire racial tactic. WH's don't even use it their racial tactic since they can burn through anything with BAL criting 65% of the time anyways. Zealot and WP are healers. Why should it be lowered to their level? IN fact, with the Atonement tactic change on WH Sacrifices Rewarded makes even more sense than before as an antithesis to WH design. The old Abos crit tactic is why it exists. Miss me with all these biased and terrible arguments, guys.

Correct, it shouldn't be lowered to the racial level. Racial tactics are usually intentionally slightly worse than class/archetype tactics. It's similar to comparing Centuries of Training (25% of 300 damage) vs. Jagged Edge (500 damage on crit). For those wanting to nerf WE (which I support), this is the wrong way to do so.

is 50% aa speed equivalent to 25% aa dmg ??
Hard to say if its equivalent to 25% aa dmg, but i would rather take old 4.1s wpns with 50% AA haste tactic back instead of 25% AA dmg. But 25% AA dmg is a great thing in ability, not tactic imo.
ye too little for tactic, you still playing dont see your doc around ? or on twink
I don't play that much anymore. Welf was what I mostly played before DPS patch but welf doesn't feel like it flows anymore:E Because Slice dmg was gutted (I like the aoe part but your target should get original dmg) and because every 10s hoping for double Crit on SS that needs Onslaught proc, Crit tactic and Frenzied mayhem is not engaging gameplay to me. IF Witchbrew was affected by ToB + Frenzied Mayhem or best it could do Crit dmg I would find Flowing build easily but now it feels like the game is telling me to spec Def Spec And that is even less engaging than SS build. If SS would give 10-50% AA dmg for 10s I would play Welf again instantly. I still Enjoy My Magus RR58 with Quickening Or Ap proc wpn and 50% Faster cast time tactic with endless Ap tactic for all near my pet or 15% more DMG tactic if closer than 45ft. Those tanks that realize to guard me and sticking to me and my target in sc's and there is 2 healers Ithe burst DMG is huge . Random try with dummy I had 7k 1s DMG and 9-10k 3s DMG. My DPS dok does very nice DMG but not that nice :D
