Black Ork - how it is nowadays?

Hi returning after a long break, planning to roll a BO since I never had one at high lvl.

How is this class performing these days? Compared to other tanks?

Shield is good also for some (little) damage?
Sometimes I like to roam on my own in the lakes..

Thank you

shield blorc is the back bone of every destro warband and is probably one of the best classes ingame atm.

For solo roaming you would probably have to use a different build with more dps output.

Yeah. I'm bring up a BO right now (35/52). Run him with a SnB and in all aspects of the RvR content (solo, group, WB) he has something he can do to contribute to the situation at any given moment. My personal favorite ability is "Right in da Jibblies" which works for interrupts AND pursuit/anti-kite. And with the base tactics available he has excellent survivability for an under-geared toon.

The only issue I've run into with him is is a little clunkier than my SM for swapping through stances but he has so much more utility than the SnB version of my SM it doesn't matter.
