Awesome post. Very constructive too.
Your first reply to this topic was like "Someone got farmed in scs"
Please tell me more how constructive this is.

And while you might be right about ppl trying to group in solo scs, quing seperatly and venting would be much more effort and thefore less people doing it.
Implementing solo and 6vs6 que wouldn't lead to such long que times at prime time atleast.
Also maybe you could even make premade+6pugs vs premade+6pugs a thing, so that there is always the same amount of premades on each side.

If you beat the other team they will just hide behind the "our pugs were ****" argument. If I am playing with a 6 man, I want to fight other 6 mans and when I beat them I want to know they had the same grounding as us.

At the same time I want to be able to pug and play less seriously (no mics / communication or deep strategy), but not run into dorks running meta milker premades turning the scenario into a concentration camp for the other side. Which is what happens often right now.

This would mean solo que MMR, and Group Que MMR. 6v6 competitive SC que (MMR tied to guild), 12v12 pug solo only que, and 12v12 casual group/solo que.

But that's just my opinion, and something I probably picked up after playing so many competitive games. Some people can argue that warhammer isn't designed, nor should be designed or re tooled by the devs to cater to people like me. But I will give my 2 cents anyways. I would like to see SC's become the competitive side of WAR, and ORvR to be the casual/fun side.

yes but i think its easier to manage that via the scenarios rather then having to programme the queue system new. (this will take months prbly.).

So open up the citadel for 6vs6 fight and you basically done with your premade queue.
For then, group queue could even be disabled for all other scs and queue syncing prohibited by shuffling any queuer to different scenarios randomly.

i think we are better of with a small step to play with as to wait for months or even years for the big thing.

Well...honestly I do not know....I have a bad experience from live where there were "premades". Smashing pugs and leaving the moment they witnessed there is premade against them or when they knew people arent rr40 powerlevelers.

And ... giving them double rewards for a chance they would lose and gain pretty much nothing..lets say 4 kills x 2 is still less than roflstomping undergeared/low lvl pugs where they have very high chance to get like 20 kills x 1 ....

atm it would be best to have lvl 20 only queue and lvl 12-lvl 19 though no idea how many sub 20 players are out there

I have read this same thing several times now in this forum, but never experienced it in-game. Everytime i fought a premade in an SC it was to the death, no one ever left, the SC was incredibly fun and usually the losing side would reach the winners after the SC and ask for a 6v6/rematch.

I'm starting to think that people are just making up the "premades leave the moment they see another premade, they just want to farm pugs" thing. Most premades i know only want to find a good fight.

I said from live. and I have seen it a lot on KN. sure some were fight to the death but still I have seen whole enemy grp to gtfo the moment they knew they are facing high rr premade or if allied 2nd grp was some warlord at best pugs.

in the last months of war (before rr100 pot) it was a lot better. players were facing even double slayer premades and still fought on even when there were really low chance to do anything. Maybe it was cuz there was only small playerbase and players interested in fight.

same in orvr - I have seen a lot of premades that were fighting anything or when being zerged, pulled nice retreat and slaughtered anyone who dared to overextend too far from the zerg that were chasing them. on the other hand there were premades that run the moment they were facing even equal numbers.

Most sub 20 players you see are just alts from the same group of people. Therefore, new brackets won't solve anything.

The same lvl 20 premades that always win in SCs will still win in a lvl 12-19 bracket while leveling their alts. A lvl 19 character wearing Calamitous gear will still farm lvl 12 players just as hard as a lvl 20 would. Just last weekend i played my lvl 17 AM with two friends (lvl 15 IB and lvl 16 WL). We won all the SCs we played together.

SCs are about coordinated groups fighting each other. If you don't want to coordinate or be a team player, then either:

- don't join SCs and stick to oRvR.
- Join them but don't complain later if you lose all the time.

The problem is people don't like any of these options. They feel they are entitled to playing SCs however they want, and therefore demand that certain aspects of the game are changed.

I think you overestimate how much of a difference "skill" makes in this game. Unless that person is leveling buy doing 6 mans with his guild in the 12-19 bracket it wont make that huge a difference.

Teamwork, coordination, gearing make more difference than individual skill ever will in this game. 1 person cannot carry a team like its CSGO.

- Super Mario Bros. : I am bad at platforming. I refuse to learn how to jump. Devs, please give Mario perma-flight.

- Call of Duty: I am bad at aiming. I refuse to learn how to aim. Devs, please give me permanent auto-aim so i can head-shot all the time.

- DoTA: I am bad at Support. I refuse to learn how to support. Devs, please remove support Heroes from the game.

- Return of Reckoning: I am bad at joining/making premades. I refuse to learn. Devs, please remove premades from SCs.

Grulo, Im not arguing about lvl 12 pugs being roflstomped by rank 20 premade. Its the reason no1 would like to get anything than max lvl player for their premade at first place. Sure it would be same even when there would be 12-19 bracket though atm lvl 20 is too far above anything sub20
- grp heal
- challenge
- 2nd tactic slot
- raze,FM
off stat or toughness tactics are lvl 19 ....

sure you can have fun playing as low lvl with friend or two. did it few days back on my RP paired with BW (r14, r15). we won fair share of scs. though usually cuz guarded slayers spamming flurry slaughtering everything in their path and ripping through destro frontline in ease

i actually love 6v6 idea for groups. we could have some proper tactics, with capturing, ambushing people and what not.

keep the others as they are, and yes, I do both guild premades and solo.
