I'm surprised WE Absorb tactic has remained as it is for so long, devs have been on a nerfing crusade for 2 years now when it comes to other class tactics, yet an obvious balance outlier - Sacrifices Rewarded- remains intact. Hence why we asked previously if there is a bias for the class in the balanceteam. It should never have exceeded 450 absorb.

One could argue about some old WE stuff, but what the balanceteam did is insane tbh in the latest mdps patch.

Point 2). The '' leap'', it creates a situation where the WE stick to the target like glue. We're talking about a stealth class, which is invisible, can't see it coming( known as having the element of surprise). Out of nowhere it pops on the target and now it sticks like glue, i do not wish to offend anyone personally but this is amateur level of balancing. Sacrifical stab already added a new snare effect, the old rdps snare now works with feinted position. That's all the tools a stealth class needs. I would argue a WE should not have a leap at all, let alone a CD reset on it, madness.

Cmon people lets not act like that Destro players were not crying for WL nerf for years. Or when Slayer existed and Rampage bypassed everything. I can still taste the salt. The topic got derailed but valid points were raised by several people. And i think everyone and their mom knows that WE/WH are overperforming in small scale. It just happens that WE is all around more equipped.

^^WH's flooding the lakes is fixable, just address the BAL Tactic and the flood will subside back to normal again. Fotm WH's playing the Bal Spec, and perhaps to avoid getting ganked by a host of WE's and retaliate with their own stealth/groups ( in this case, an unfortunate escalation created by the patch).

The WE's flooding RvR is more intricate and requires more balancing attention, one can't only point at a single ability such as BAL and claim, ''thats it''.

https://killboard.returnofreckoning.com/kill/62850432 prebuffed WB with SS :) Its almost 10k damage in 3s KD :) Dont get me wrong i have nothing against DPS WEs after mdps patch(2 pounce is alot but manageable and maaaaybe damage overtuned abit) and Alinchik as player(i actualy happy to see another WE goes DPS instead of 100% skillbased DEf/regen build), but prebuffed WB shouldnt be a thing :)

Everyone in this thread should realise WE can’t be nerfed in a vacuum.

So be precise what you are asking for as order as a whole still is more kill effective

Those numbers are mostly influenced by big scale (zerg/blob/etc) rvr scenarios where WEs only play a minor role, don't you think?
This thread is more about smallscale and solo encounters and the ttk for and on WE.

And the distribution being around the 50% mark for a 1 month timeline I think it's pretty balanced factionwise. 3 months would be more interesting to include more of the organized guilds focus switchs.

to count stealth as an "utility" (!) together with all other individual skills is arguably the most disingenious (or downright dumb) point I have even read in this forum.

To say that stealth is by far the most powerful "tool" (game-mode, more like) in solo/smallscale that the game has to offer is an understatement.

I have played WE to rr81. STEALTH is NOT ANOTHER UTILITY lol. It's literally playing in another universe of your own choosing. As a mediocre player myself, I had to fight the temptation of thinking myself a good player when I played my WE, everything seemed so easy. Returning to other classes quickly shattered the mirage.

Please don't put sardines and submarines in the same category of "swimming animals" just because they start with s and end in ines.
