Hello!
I'm new to Return of Reckoning and have enjoyed leveling multiple classes to T2+/T4, but progress stalls there due to current RvR issues (lopsided fights, deathballing, etc.) rare scenarios and quick deaths. High-level players quickly farm low-levels, making gameplay feel meaningless as you just get destroyed.
At T1, even ungeared or new players can contribute by applying pressure without getting annihilated instantly. To keep new players engaged and encourage them to keep going, I believe extending the low-level experience in merging T1-T2 would keep it fun, increase the participation in getting low level sets (Keeper / Mayhem as an example) and actually feeling that you increased your performance over time, and reduce the frustrating "low level in T4" experience.
I've discussed this with others in-game; through the beginner guild chats and everyone do tend to agree.
Merging T1-T2 to help low level integration

Re: Merging T1-T2 to help low level integration
Been discussed a lot. With population on server won't happen unless new players like leveling and playing in empty t2 zones.back when their was a separation of tiers, that's what the issue was empty lakes / zones and no content so layers asked for merger and it had to be done.
First RR90 Slayer working towards the top of the mountain.I still solo, still run riposte.

Re: Merging T1-T2 to help low level integration
Late night NA atm cant even sustain t1 during the week at about 7pm my time its all but down to partial wbs at best and no sc pops. I'd imagine a lot of people would be mad if that deadzone was increased to an even longer grind that can only be done at certain times or on the weekend.
It sucks because one on hand new players need a populated and healthy enviroment for them to learn, but veteran players at least a good chunk id say loathe the leveling process and would be 100% back to powerleveling to 40 in a couple hours like we used to on the server if the changes were reverted. Which means less players in t1, which gives a bad impression for new players etc.
So its a lose-lose situation atm in NA at least sometimes.
Ive been on the server since 2014, NA has always had these types of problems, it doesnt help the server is in france, ive had friends not touch the server just because of latency even if it is in reality not a huge deal as ive played with aussies that did fine even if a bit grumpy about it.
I wish something could be done, but I doubt its a priority for the devs to try and revitalize NA which might require changes that are pointless or possibly abrasive for the majority EU population and take up development time.
And tbh im not even sure what can be done.
As far as t4 being frustrating for low level or undergeared players I dont actually think this is the case. T4 or the game as a whole has sort of collapsed into itself in the past few years into a heavily zerg focused community driven thing which has killed solo or rather a better term unorganized players. Its miserable solo even on a rr80 full sov character or pugging same story. Scenarios are really the only escape from that anymore and hopefully the new MM is ironed out more. The tldr here is if you arent willing to join a guild and play organized either 6man or 24 man the game is gonna feel pretty bad. I dont think that is a bad thing, but most MMOs these days bend over backwards to cater to casual anti social players, while this game is reppelent for them.

Re: Merging T1-T2 to help low level integration
Years ago, I think even in 2017 they still had T2 and T3 as separate from T4, they added T4 zones around Feb 2016,
There was not enough of a player base in T2, and T3 to have a lot of action going on, as most of the population was already in T4 , so they first tried the debolster mechanic, so T4 players could play with friends in T1- T3, but finally just merged T2 and T3 with T4
However once you get into T4, it will mostly be a Order PVD game for 5 to 6 days of every week, with Dest actually doing well for 1 or 2 days a week, when Order get bored of capturing 4 to 7 forts every 3 days, and log on their Dest toons to help with Balance.

Leave it as it is. T1 is a hell that must be left asap!
Re: Merging T1-T2 to help low level integration
I'm not sure what this post is proposing? T1 is already expanded to be 1-16, level-wise.
I actually wouldn't hate seeing the T2 ZONES (the ones with simple keeps,) somehow integrated into the T1 RvR rotation, these barely last a second in T2+ RvR anyway.
