I'll confess to smallscale whitelion stuff being overtuned the day devs fix all pet bugs. I cant even use mine since the pet goes into a 20-25 second self-inflicted stun pretty much all the time then it despawns(this "new " bug made me finally quit the class over 1 year ago).

Pressing Pet Hold then pet follow fixes that problem for me. The pet despawns if u go too far away from it or vice versa. It seems to get stuck like that when it gets knocked down.

WL is very broken for smallscale/solo and it really comes down to the utility of the pet itself rather that the entire focus of this thread being a mediocre ability.

Good if you found a working solution to this most critical bug ( i have no idea why the balanceteam has not fixed it yet, it is devastating and obvious). Yes that's correct it triggers from the Pet getting CCed. For me personally this one was the ''The straw that broke the camel’s back''. I was tired of having a Pet which can't AI path correctly, need a tactic to not despawn from mounted and can't be used at all in the Thunder Mountains Map( it auto stuns on dismount '' feature''). Seems to despawn without making any sense during critical moments.

Then some more bugs which over the course of several years made me very weary of the class, playing WL with a Pet out is like having to fight the game on a fundamental basic level. Performance wise it is strong with a Pet out and has a few couple of things which are overtuned indeed ( looking at the new heal tactic in mdps patch seems off).

This is the one class in the game i would wish upon getting a complete overhaul-rework of the Pet mechanic, fixed with a smooth gameplay experience and whilst doing it some things overtuned being taken care of.

Personally other than the bug previously mentioned and some instances of the pet having bad pathing which is very rare, WL has been the most enjoyable class I've played, solo or group context, but especially solo. The fact that the class can kill WEs easily in KD duration and pretty much anything below heavy armor is insane, and that's coming from a WE main xD.
