PvP/RvR is the only "high level" content in this game. Why do some push this ridiculous narrative that fort/city is somehow special?
I agree with the OP invader should drop from keep bags after you hit rr60 or so, it is fun gear with some different set bonuses that almost nobody uses.

Well, the first they can just add stackable bonus rolls for fort, just like we have for regular zones. Second, they can lower Invader(and all other lower sets) price in half, so PvPeers will not be FORCED to do PvE...

so far it seems most people aggree that SOMETHING should be done to invader gear atleast, i guess we just have to hope the devs are looking at doing something in the future with it

As someone who filled in for a busted Bastion Stair run last night, I would like to see invader cost lowered. However it's unlikely to ever be low enough to not knuckle down and just chew through BS runs. The PuG pve is pretty brutal, but makes for some memories.

BS will stay mandatory cos provide best ingame dps weapon. The goal to make invader gear more accessible and with better quality is to provide additional gearing options cos gear route past certain rr level is quite stale

At the end we all look the same as the BiS options are quite few…not even talking that we copy each other by checking as well the killboard.

100% agree on remove the ring from the 4th slot and adding drops to forts!

Long time overdue. PvP gear prices are way too unadequate.

Thankfully conq/vanq gear is back in oRvR bags and so should invader be. Above conq (to dodge gunbad) buying anything up till triumph/vic+city gear is a waste of crests from all povs.

I wrote about this a long time ago. Invader is just not worth spending the crests for. You can just get Vanq, BL or Darkpromise and grind rr+crest until you can buy and wear full souv or whatever endgame gear.

Just make it drop in normal RvR gold bags in the lakes, not even fortress. Wouldn't hurt anyone.

With current population I agree with suggestion about invader gear drop from gold bags in oRvR. All of my old geared chars that progressed mainly via PvP Invader/warlord/sov are from times when server population was at its peak (2-3k players), there were a lot of forts during the day and wl/sov gear was dropping also from City gold bags. One could save thousands of crests if get lucky on roll. Cities were also much more populated than they are today.
