+10 Range on Invader for MSH

Has anyone tried this lately?

I did a 4x Triumph / 5 x Invader build and it was like playing a different class. The extra range is huge and so many of the MSH abilities really suffer from the short range.

Anyway, give it a whirl. I did Triumph Cape, Belt, Chest, and Jewel. The rest Invader.

Had 234 Melee Power and went with the Armor Pen route (70%).

Keep in mind that the Range, and the Radius from aoe abilities are very different.
Having the extra range to SquigLeap is nice though!

Yep, +5 on both sides from the epicenter for AOE.

Are you 100% sure it is increasing your radius? Most range increases do not increase the radius of abilities.

Just tested it. All 5ft close combat range got increased range too. Most fun )

It it a bug?

Last time I tested it (1.5 years ago or so) it worked correctly; all targeted abilities (Squig Leap, Ard Nogin, Big Claw, Git Em, Tastes Like Stuntie, Don't Eat Me) got +10 ft range.

AOE radius on abilities was (correctly) unaffected.
If the radius is now increased due to the Invader bonus then please bugreport it.

yes I also remember +range also affecting aoe just fine, onslaught gloves too

Suuuper easy to debunk.

I stood at the Targetdummies without +range equipped. I moved backwards while channeling BB untill i was 1ft away from the standard 25ft.
I then equipped +10ft range bonus from 5piece Invader, and as assumed it didnt let me hit the target dummies with BB standing at 26ft.
