Or the amount of Goblin/destro players active in the forums making these threads over and over. ( no i'm not biased, same goes for Orders complaining excessively about destro classes). We all know the only class that needs to be really nerfed, is Magus ! ;)
Stinksuit wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 7:49 am I dont really understand what's the point of these posts? There is nothing being sad what should be done to WL.. its just complaining that its "OP"

We know there is a dps patch incoming so Im pretty sure they're going to change something about WL there (amongst other dps classes too).

I feel like either provide useful comments what should be done to WL and give suggestions or stop making these posts, they won't lead into anything other than the usual back and forth of people saying "wl op" -> "destro players just cry so it gets nerfed like they did with rampage"..
Agreed. Devs will likely not balance based on players spontaneous whims and their emotional state after getting killd by XX class, but with data they have gathered over a long period of time, but more likely real experience of their own ( which may or may not be adequate enough to make the best changes, time will tell).

For example , it isn't hard to tell that WL/Maras are too strong in certain situations, or Regen Def WE. They are all very popular etc. That doesn't mean they need to be nerfed the way players think, in fact, RoR should buff the underperforming classes and stop nerfing so much, if the meta classes are too strong for the wrong reasons( I.e Def WE is not a tank archetype, but behaves like it in small scale outperforming even real regen tanks) then rework them rather than nerf.

In the case of the WL, it needed a rework for the longest time not just nerf to xx ability and then be done with it, that would be a huge missed opportunity for the dev team(same with WE). In this case, the class mechanic(Pet) sucks and only dies in large scale, therefore isn't viable in warband fights and is replaced by the poor band-aid solution fix '' Loner tactic'' which makes the class unfun to play and ''3 button spam''.

But players with the ''nerf WL'' because coordinated strike deleted my dps glass RDPS will never understand that, they are one dimensonal in their level of thinking with a limited perspectice of just looking at dps numbers, therefore ignorant about the overall picture regarding the class.

The nerf mentality some players have in these forums and in-game chats is slowly draining the fun out of the game, unfortunately it seems the devs may be listening to some of if based on changes in the past. RoR as a game was imho way more fun 4-5 years ago, despite not being balanced at all. Because more classes felt powerful and therefore more fun to play with.

The most successful games out there established in their balancing philosophy early, it is better that everything is powerful than everything being mediocre level, once everything becomes bland, the player base will accordingly slowly vanish , this is a proven fact in many games, i'm old enough to have been part of their communities and seen the decline( i.e the classic Blizzard eras etc).

Will this be RoRs faith? Time will tell. The dps patches will be very telling in which direction the server will take.

AOE WL just deals too much damage in too big radius. AOE spec has so much damage that it rivals ST spec and is somes cases is better.

Yes, the best thing to do, is buff slayers. mSH does the same damage aoe WL does in the same range. Choppa is simply better than mSH thats why you don't see as many.

And no. Aoe specc does not rival the ST specc on WL. Not even close. You should stop posting such things here. Blatantly wrong.

Except that it does. And you have no right to tell anyone what to post or not to post.
