When we from the community are memeing about RvR has stagnated and barely anything is being done it comes from a place of care and frustration.
Below I will list a series of little adjustments which would not require full on year long overhauls. But just minor adjustments which could be experimented with as examples, and then the ingame polling system could be done, or in coordinating with an orvr warbandbuilder/rvr guild focus group could agree on if something should be kept into the game or scrapped.
Suggestions for changing the orvr stagnation feeling:
- Ram scales with amount of Battleobjectives controled (25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of normal dmg)
- Battleobjectives are locked for 5 minuts after capture from either realm
- Keepgages can be damaged by abilities again. But have a 97% damage reduction rate.
- The default siege weapons on keepwalls no longer shoot dmg (do they even work?) but instead are strategic aoe snare catapults to shoot at the enemy to stall their manuvers and movement
- Total amount of players inside a ram is increased to 12. But the total dmg is the same as currently. it just gives more players something to do, and oil becomes a more dangerous tool as wiping potentually half a warband can lead to much more momentum than 4 current enemies.
- Claimed keeps have gaurds holding banners from the assigned guild, 3 in total one of each on bottom floor.
- Boxes can no longer drop from players inside the range of battleobjectives/keeps and will fade after 10seconds if you carry one and get hit by a player. To avoid blockade.
- Oil takes 3 players to spawn to prevent solo misplaced waste of such an important tool. One guy to place the oil cauldron and two to support it from building after applied.
- Inner oils can once again be repaired by up to 3-4 players (inner oil is in closer range from ranged attacks so dies alot easier)
- Singletarget canons no longer consume shots when they are fired on the oil. players hit will still consume ammo.
-When a keeplord is attacked pass 98% he will do aoe pulsing aoe knockdowns in the whole lordroom bypassing immunities at 98% and 20% (to promote lordroom defences and defenders returning while the attackers are on lord and not after lord is dead)
- WH/WE Booby trap archtype ability will now be a Bomb you can place on postern doors at inner keep. if 10 are placed the posterndoor will be blown away and like in a fortress there is no postern door, just an open doorframe. The door will respawn if a box is turned in from the defenders.
- The known outskirt BOs in zones like Eataine, Reikland, TM, Cale. Will have a questgiver npc standing near the BO giving a repeatable quest only acceptable for ungrouped players. Which require you to get 1 pure solo kill with no other player interfeering. Rewards can be Crest or consumeables.
- Local AAO now reflects the reward and difficulty of a fight. If you are 1v3 and get a kill you get 3 times as much as the 3 people running you down. Same for 24vs 48.
- KV is hardlocked to always give Destro the north keep and Order the south keep.
- Reikland Order warcamp is moved somewhere south of the Northkeep west postern ramp, to allow less harrasment from above while going into the orvr lake.
- Eataine Warcamps are moved further apart from eachother.
- Caledor order WC gets a teleport orb in WC to allow them an other real exit into the lake.
- Dragonwake Destro gets a teleport orb in WC to allow them a more realistic option into the West part of the map near Cale border. No more pve jumppuzzles and dismounts.
- T4 chat is once again only for the assigned role within a guild "realm captain" General chat is already a think or /1 region. Let the leaders make their calls for their realms and stand out.
- When a realm gets a RR80 ding the message says "they are celebrating" give everyone logged onto this realm a 1hour 10%renown buff
- Replace the "last week renown holder" statues in capital with pug warbandleaders of top 5 from last week most optained warbandleader marks.
- Reintroduce the serverwide Top renown rank holder leaderboard on armory on the webpage. Celebrate those that invested years on the server
- Update the dyes pass RR 80+ for more popular options (snowwhite, black options etc)
- In the open warband window add an "autoband" icon next to warbandleaders with autoband.
- Allow for the option of 3 extra information icons on the open warband window such as "fighting" "campaign" "realm coop"
Naturally some of these suggestions goes against eachother and im by nomeans expecting half of them to be introduced. But this list took me 8minuts to theorycraft. So when we, the community, ask for ANYthing to happen to change up RvR. We are not per say asking for all the pve zones to turn into a brand new RvR map. But some of these minor adjustments, implimentations or additions would have some playerbehaviour effect and it would change the day-to-day orvr feel.
Please keep this topic about RvR smaller/bigger adjustments and not full overhauls.

Long time ago i ask for adding renow rank into openwarband window it would help adjusting players into partys.so maybe also : Build,spec ect.
I would even ask to keep/1 not only /4 chat for selected players.
To many times important messages disapear under emotional/1 whine.
Statue for pug leaders- why not it gives info for player base about leaders names.

Oil kills should not give rr point or crests( and probably thats like that) it should at least prevent " leachers" from destroying deffs to other players. Oil is tactical tool and should be ussed with that assumptuion. If player used it 1s to fast or to late is not problem of bad will ,but wrong decisionmaking. Dont know if x player requirement will prevent wrong decisionmaking.
