Problem:
Disrupt and Parry stacking is much easier than stacking strikethrough.
Players can get +18% disrupt/parry through renown alone, but there are 0 renown abilities that give strikethrough.
Additionaly, only 50% of a player's disrupt/parry can be bypassed at maxed, tilting the balance really hard in favor of defensive speccing.
This is especially noticeable on casters, which often rely on a rotation to deal significant damage.
Solution:
Remove the 50% rule on disrupt/parry and implement an offensive renown ability that gives 18% strikethrough, just like their counterparts.
As a nice side effect this should also revive sorc and bw.

+1, I'd like the 50% removed completely. Strikethrough is hard enough to get as it is and only being able to bypass half seems weird.
Also getting parried as a mdps hitting casters/healers seems a bit odd.. xD

let's remove all armors values all elemental resistances and also remove parry/dodge/disrupt from everything.

I also like the idea that you have to invest points in it. Which then forces to consider new stuff when creating builds.

I agree to take away the 50% rule, but I believe that the amount of strikethrough available right now is fine.
Every dps reach 1050 offensive stat, which is effectively 10% strikethrough + gear%. So the defensive target will effectively have 8% + defensive-stat%. Which is fine, since no one stack def state. As far as I know it is impossible to reach 1050 ini, healer don't stack wp, and to stack tou you have to do a lot of compromising.
People have to die... When focused by two or more dps.

I think there's already way too many defensive renown specs compared to offensive ones. We have so much evade/ crit reduction but nothing offensive in comparison. Personally I hard disagree with this, it is already incredibly easily for RDPS to burst though targets, especially Sorc and SH when they are single target specced.
18% dodge/disrupt is really a tiny amount of def for a fairly considerable renown investment. Especially when the majority of classes essentially need to parry bonus from renown to survive in mele fights.

They could either have a bonus strikethrough :
-For each level of Dark Magic / Combustion
-For long cast spells
-On a group buff
-On a new debuff
Sham/AM got lots on last patch + undefendable spells
Renown is a cool idea except healers dps are already too strong in 1v1
