I think it´s not only about too many skills. It´s combination of too many skills to press, building/spending grudges mechanic and lack of toolkit that other tanks offer by much easier way (Kobs and chosen by passive way).saupreusse wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 2:15 pmI think they are both very good, but they have TOO MANY SKILLS which keeps me from playing them more often.Wdova wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 1:12 pm What does this tell us? Same as on live 15+ years ago IB/BG are the least played characters period.
Even tank balance is considered as complete, these archetypes needs some love and buffs.

Not population graphs this time - but here’s an alternate view of the killboard scenario-page, using the same API ofcourse.

A work-in-progress, but hopefully someone finds it useful.
Other earlier mentioned pages (just to have some more info in the post..):
https://maartenson.net/ror_graph.html
https://maartenson.net/ror_graph_pie.html
From other threads:
https://maartenson.net/ror_lostvale.html
.. I have gotten inqueries about making more of the dungeon-run-summaries for other dungeons, probably coming up in the not too far future.

Thank you for your superb work on visualising different aspects of RoR's ecosystem!

Re: Just some population graphs
On live the first 2 years I played Dest, the last 2 years I played order. On RoR I play whichever side has the least players on it, if Order has less players than Dest I play Order, if Dest has less players, I log on Dest.
If one side is just PvE zerging Keeps, I log off rather than try and defend with no help or Join the PVE side. I remember a couple years ago, I play in NA time zone so may be diff for others, and everyday back then I would log on, and Order would be locking zones, and forts with over 130 Order in a fort vs 19 or so Dest so I just logged off.
I always try to play the underdog side as it is more fun, how people find it fun taking zones with no one to fight is beyond me. I wish more did the same, instead of staying on the zerg side to PvE empty keeps .
