I like that you are working on PvE. To those complaining that resources should focus on PvP instead, keep in mind that for a new player (and alts) PvE is a good, possibly the best, way to gear up outside of suffering through the renown ranks and spending precious crests on sets. Making it interesting and enjoyable is an important way to keep groups running it. There needs to be more to this game than just mindless RvR.

I have two requests:

1. Please make gear sets options like you did for LV. It kind of sucks to run Crypts on my heal WP or Bastion Stair on any healer and get nothing out of it other than wards. Ideally all gear sets should have these options, including those from PQs and questlines. I suppose this is mainly an issue for healers and tanks.

2. Please look at the armor bonuses that are on some sets. Other than Redeye, they are set below their itemization value. Also, given the amount of armor debuffs and armor penetration that is now in this game, armor bonuses on cloth armor classes are next to useless so consider removing those completely and replacing it with wounds or toughness or initiative.

Thanks for the heads up! Always appreciated with communication and transparency.

One question though, for some clarification.
What is the LOTD goal? Will it be to get rid of the current RvR gamemode and then go back to the Live-like PQ map?
Because if thats the case, then that is a BIG diaappointment if you remove one of the few working gamemodes where Battleobjectives are kinda finally equal in value and to some extend the game have the right amount of incentives to spread players out, while still holding true to the Campaign direction of Order vs Destruction.

If LOTD is getting replaced for more PQs that seem like a massive let down and a downgrade of RoR direction. Do we need more Ruin geared PQs or Chp 22? And at the cost of pvp?

Please think carefully about not making more mistakes like the Roleplay cities with very little replayability, all in the name of making something cool on paper to try and lure new players into the server. When the main replay loops are in desperate attention (sc/rvr) instead of dumping countless hours into T1 dungeons that new players barely even get into, or roleplay cities with no replayability.
Sure T3 dungeon gear set should last longer so more of an argument for players might actually do that, instead of getting their wards from a T3 PQ boost for the ward unlock.

But please tell us more about the overall red line for the Server with LOTD.
Live Minitombs, TOVL had a cool idea of invasions but in theory it was not balanced that you could invade with a pvp comp agianst groups with two shield tanks, or having oneshot traps in there also. Make sure what ever you guys do with this expansion is actually gonna be an upgrade to the server, becasue right now it sounds like you are thinking about removing pvp to add more pve, and that is not the correct move if you attempt to understand your audience!

Ping me when Battleobjectives are becoming meaningful to the oRvR game as an incentive & tool to spread out the players and the action.

Lets be honest, most people who comes here - looking for PvP. When do you release so much PvP items, like you do with LV update? Why i must do PvE to get some weapons with stats/bonuses that i need for PvP?
Most players here dont want to do PvE at all, but for some reason you forced them too... Jew3 with slot, which you can get ez in PvE dungeon or wait like eternity when you finally can get 10k crests. Gold, which you need for everyday pots, but you cant get it in PvP at all (weekly 60g instead of crests, rly?) Now OP weapons and bis in they tier sets from LV... I really dont understand why you do this.
They are a group working on PvE, so don't bring up such comments here.

This is great news.
I am impressed by your achievements and the goals you set for yourselves.

I hope that LOD will regain its former glory and that you will restore this zone to its former, only correct small-scale character.
This zergfest that is currently taking place is terrible.
It is definitely the worst content in the game.
Thank you for your enormous contribution to the best MMO :).

Alright, let's get some responses going!

Sadsong wrote: Sat Oct 18, 2025 1:43 am I like what you guys did on Sentinel's runs, BB and Crypts got fast and fun. But I'm worried about what is going to happen in Gunbad. For me, the dungeon is nice as it is now. Just tank'n spank and low mechs. A early endgame dungeon shouldnt be harder than Bastion Stairs, but Gunbad is and depending what you guys are going to do, it can get back to be a super boring dungeon full of mechs and people will only want those experienced or guildiemates to do that, like is happening to LV.

Wouldn't worry too much here, as we're aiming to keep the runtime just about the same as it is now. It'll still be fairly easy and simple, only now you'll learn a few basic mechanics that will start to help guide you as you make your way up to higher Dungeons. If you have time to test it out and let us know your thoughts, please do; we'll be looking to our testers this weekend to tell us if they think we're on the right track.

The Scenario team is working hard on matchmaking now, so hopefully we'll hear some news from them soon! For the ideas about removing barriers in favor of guards, I'd recommend proposing those in the Suggestions forum or as an addition to some of the threads already there. That's the best way to get them seen / easily viewed by the rest of the team.

Thank *you*! Hope you'll enjoy LOTD once it arrives.

The team is working now on itemization for Tier 4, so they'll be reviewing all the end-game sets soon and adjusting any outliers. In some cases, some sets or armor pieces have far more or fewer stats than they should - Lost Vale is on the mark, so you can use that as a general litmus test to see how much others may change.

Ty for answering=) Nice to know that Tier 4 Itemization is being looked. BUT none of the T4 sets, Conq/Domi/Vanq/Opp to Onslaught-Bloodlord, Vict/Triumphant etc does not need to be nerfed at all. It should be the opposite if anything. But lowering the Renown rank of conq to rr40/39lvl. Invader rr45-50. "Warlord" (I quess triu/Vict or make new rvr set) to rr52-57 and rr60-68.

Reason why i say no nerfs, because there have been alot of nerfs and removals of great gear that has no RR requirement but is high lvl. Or rr38 Inf Wpns used to have 3% Crit 1%Parry 37str and talisman slot + Boost V proc.

https://imgur.com/a/warhammer-original-glory-3gwL5FQ Check the 2 last pictures you can see rr38inf wpn what its "power" lvl used to be.

"sovereign" 66dps 1h before patch that introduced Worn Sovereign they also added rr75 wpn that had 70dps 1h but the First "Sove" Wpns were the 66dps ones that didnt require any renown rank and all of them had procs, only dropped in last stage City Siege, Mini Pve instance 5 Lords you need to kill Before you get to kill the king.

https://imgur.com/a/warhammer-online-it ... ck-NY9bkl7
Here you can see lvl 30 belt with 3 tali slots and no RR requirement. Universal Cloak with 3% Crit reduction and 700 armor proc that stacked with armor pot/skill. 63dps wpn was Warlord 2nd stage of city siege reward. No rr requirement+Proc. I think most of us players would gladly take Aor power lvl because ror has removed SO MUCH of 3-5% Crit or Chance to be crit in 1 item and changed it to 1-2%.

SO now you need to renown spec for crit and or reduced chance to be crit, even though all of that came with the gear already and thus nobody specced for Reduced chance to be critted. Crit is the way to go with heals+dmg, i mean this game has sorc/bw with mechanic of 100% Crit dmg with 35% Crit, so why would you even take crit out of the game and make the armour penetration as main dmg thing, when obviously that is a bad idea.

Rp/Zeal 1600 armour tactic that stacked with pot/skill, is now like 500-600? 180 armour talismans to 136 etc with all the HUGE reduction of armour we can have vs all ror added 25% Armour pene tactics.

Crit fluctuates 35-55% Increase on Heal/Dmg ability with no modifiers. With 50% Crit tactic, and 20% Crit dmg proc making it 70% increase, is now 35%-125% Increase or is the 70% added to the 35% portion making it 105-125% Critical dmg increase? Either way is fine with me D

And this is the problem. Instead of making endless dungeon in PvP game - devs can rework gearing system, so players will actually can NOT SUFFER, gearing in pvp.

To the RvR bots whining about PvE being worked on, you realize the PVE team is a separate entity. They have been doing a tremendous job in the past years and thanks to them, it's now possible to enjoy both PvE and PVP contents close to its live version and even beyond (I think this version of LV is the better one, also HV on live was only an easy seasonal event).
I'm glad Gunbad will get some of its mechanics back, it's a pretty boring run nowadays. It should however retain its "entry-level T4 PvE dungeon feel" without being overly difficult as some of the fights used to be on its first relaunch.

Also as far as Bastion will be concerned (and its heavy aggro swap mechanics), I would like to see something being worked on. Currently (and for quite a while now), the aggro metrics seems to be broken. The aggrometer add-on often gives wrong informations when aggro swaps, while the player at the top of the list is not currently having aggro (sometimes for several seconds / tens of seconds). It probably means the information metrics sent are somehow flawed (while it used to work pretty flawlessly few yars ago).

Anyway, thanks for your work PvE team, can't wait to see LoTD also back in its former glory!

As always, great work by the PVE team.

Is the itemization a pve team, balance team or possibly a shared responsibility? Alot of fundamental mechanics have changed without sets beeing redesigned. I hope for something more than just a stat normalization of existing sets.
