AA beeing such a substantial part of damage is in my opinion a boring design philosophy. Ideally it would be toned down and any damage loss shifted to actual abilites.

AA is fine if non-aa classes didn't have their damage nerfed so hard. This is another one of the many reasons why BW/Sorc are underperforming in small-scale, but remain viable in large-scale.

AA was fine but the armor nerfs had the following impact:

-Reduced time to get to Execution Abilities health% that Automatically Critically Hit. (WL, SH, SW, etc.)
-Reduced mitigation of physical attacks as the armor debuffs are more prevalent than the armor buffs (which can be removed!) + armor potions.

Both of these resulted in an even shorter TTK.

Instead of modifying abilities and trying to balance that mess, would just recommend reverting armor pots and consider making +armor bonus abilities tactic based so they can't be removed.

Additional request: investigate the armor debuff effect on ASW / MSH, since something seems off in how it's being applied making these characters squishy.

I've seen 2H slayers autoattack crit for over 3k, but no one accuses that spec of being overpowered.

I have seen cow flying once when she was caught by the twister. That doesn´t mean that is normal when cows are flying around.


It had to be to target with 0 armor, 0 toughnes (hello dummies in Altdorf) on 10-20% HP using Fierce might tactic, buffed by Blood of Grimnir from IB and ofcourse using Bloodlord 2H weap.

My BW is not in T4 yet (lvl 30), but in T2+ scenarios I am able to kill targets (even shammies and Zealots with resist buff) in one ration if I catch them off guard and they didnt detaunt me ofc.

other classes can do this too, even 1h classes. i'm often hitting for 1500+ combined noncrits (with an offhand attack proc of course, because that is how 1h vs 2h weapons are scaled) on my WH, SL and Marauder against targets who are armor debuffed. pretty much any melee is capable of this type of damage with autoattacks given the right build and situation, some are even able to exceed this amount of damage with noncrits.

Back when Welf Sacrificial Stab had 10s duration 10-50% AA dmg depending on how much Frenzies you had, i had quite alot of 1100-1300 AA crits(Just mainhand crit not including offhand dmg) on Light armour targets with Armour debuff wpn proc with my 4pc onslaught rr50 welf. But still i went with OyK+50% Armour pene tactic + 50% Crit dmg tactic because that was just too good not take imo.

But now, I would take that 50% AA dmg increase on Sac Stab Instead of OyK for sure.

Just heard from one person it gives way more than 4%. Cannot confirm it 100%. Maybe it boost all those great weapon mastery,focused ofences stuff in weird way.

I don't play a WP, but they need something to counter the fact they can be kited incredibly easily. If they don't hit like a truck when they get on target, they're just free renown.

I exclusively solo roam and destroy solo setup WP on magus, chosen, sham easily.

Not sure why you're all so perturbed by a big number, how often do any of you lose a 1v1 against a WP?

OP doesn't get hit for 1788, but about 900 and mitigates 900 damage and that is the "problem" according to OP.
