Regen is straight cancer.
While in regen and defencive gear theres just no skill needed to kill people that are whitout regen.

I have a surprise for you: in this game, 1vs1 is 99% deterministic, and skill has never played a role. You are discussing/complaining about balance in a game of rock-paper-scissors.

What rock what paper wtf you talking about.
Before grimshimmer chest and other regen stuff the orvr smallscale was healthy and fun(whit exception of some classes who could nuke squishies down whit 1 rotation.)

The proposal to restrict it to classes that actually do need it? Is somehow going to create a nightmare?

Makes no sense. :)

Why do people keep bringing up skill like it's a heavy factor? This isn't a competitively sound or terribly complex game with a huge skill ceiling.

Stat spread/builds/classes are bigger determining factors than personal skill after a certain point, as far as solo and very small scale is concerned. EX: Equally geared and skilled, a Swordmaster will kill a Chosen 95% of the time in a 1v1. And there is no amount of "skill" the Chosen can incorporate to change the outcome.

My opinion is that rings have plenty of alternatives in the game and don't need any adjustments. Body could be brought closer to the Warlord's Body stats (100-120) so that it's not the obvious choice.

Pretty much, for the item level grimmershimmer is kinda insane so adjusting it a little down to 100ish is a reasonable thing to do.

A llittle OT but, depends on ''skill''. For the average player i would say Chosen has the advantage unless SM M3 comes into play. Chosen is tankier so in a frontal brawl which average players engage in, Chosen should win. It is when the SM starts gaining some experience and timing, i.e correct flanking moves that SM has the advantage ( although it isn't 95% lol).

The reason why Chosen is the number 1 solo roam tank is simple because they fight easier enemies than the SM, no def WE or Magus to worry about, SM has no chance vs the latter with recent nerfs to the class. Chosen may still kill many AM dps with AP tactic, hybrid ones may be impossible.

This is a typical, I should be able to kill anything i want post so its not fare.

Everyone specs their class how they see fit or for the combat they expect. You will not and cannot beat everyone.

If I spec my characters to kill healers, well I'm gonna get owned by other classes. Regen is beatable ya just need.. well, I'm not gonna tell ya. If you learn the weakness you can win any class, but you may lose to another.

Saying tanks should be the only ones with regen is like saying healers or other classes cant stack armor talis..
Gogo - WE
Propaine - Chosen
Fingablasta- Rsh
