The skirmish sc is a big F nobody queueing it even players playing alone, si they need to auto this thing as if you are grouped why 1 more player or + you should be inside a sc whit players grouped together.

Sadly, they added a barrier/removed guards instead, so this is 2 more sc for sc ignore list.

The low playerbase despite there being videos with 100k+ views and more is because the game is not welcoming to new players due to the unbalanced scaling and massive gear gap from 16-40 and the high renown levels to catch up to FINALLY be on par and play pvp without getting destroyed or tickling people for damage. In the end the devs have the ability to fix this issue by buffing scaling for undergeared or low level players so they're not a useless cannon fodder at 40, and giving them a significant amount of renown buff like if your renown is below 55 you gain 200% more renown and 3x Warcrests

the gear difference between a fresh set at 40 and a high renown player shouldn't be 1000% , veterans should still have an edge when it comes to tailored gear stats and be 60% stronger at least so we don't get 5 level 40s with rr 40 or 45 with the first set trying to take down an rr 60 healer like warrior priest because hes overgeared and is barely scratching him

some abilities should also be balanced in pvp like like diminishing returns with CC

Lost Vale gear leveled the playing field. The "big" issue is renown and has always been.

i agree with the initial post.

Tonight impossible to play , the whole afternoon and night from 4pm to 09h36pm only fighting the same premade over and over again without ANY healer in our side, sometimes 1

it's stupid.

Make queue with i dont know 4 tank max and 2 or 3 heal max .

game with 10 healer are long and totally useless.

This is supposed to be a competitive game mode where the goal is to improve, enjoy good fights, and challenge yourself. But that’s only really possible when both sides are on equal footing. It becomes incredibly frustrating when you join a scenario and already know you’re going to lose just from the setup.

The worst part? You can get 10+ games in a row where your team is pushed back to spawn, constantly locked down by barriers and forced out by ridiculous debuffs—no real chance to regroup or fight back. It’s not just demoralizing, it’s a complete waste of time. You walk away with nothing: no Crests, no Renown, no decent fights—just frustration.

And please—before anyone says, “Just make a premade”—believe me, it’s not that easy. You can stand around for hours asking in /region or guild and maybe get one or two replies—if you’re lucky. A lot of us just want to log in, play a few matches, and log off. Not everyone has a regular group, friends online, or the time to organize a team every evening.

Should people really be punished for being new, for not having a network, or for simply wanting to enjoy some casual PvP?

At the very least, when a match is clearly unbalanced, we used to have the option to retreat to spawn and wait out the timer if there was no chance to win. That wasn’t great, but it was something. Now, even that’s gone—and instead, we’re forced to run out and be nothing more than punching bags for the enemy team. It's demoralizing and completely kills the motivation to queue again.

PvP should be about learning, improving, and having exciting battles—not being farmed over and over again without any chance to respond. Something needs to change—whether it’s matchmaking, scaling, or giving solo players better support. Otherwise, what’s the point?

I've been preaching, begging, and crying for years that something needs to change with the SC system. I really don't want to get on anyone’s nerves, but it's clear that SCs are one of the main reasons—probably 90%—why new players quit the game.

Zerging can't be all that Warhammer Online is about, especially since it doesn't really teach you how to play properly. Sure, some people enjoy it—but many simply don't.

I honestly believe that most people would prefer to wait a bit longer for a proper match, or even switch to classes that are actually needed, instead of getting instant pops that end up being pointless or frustrating.

Am I really asking for too much?

I would propose a system that makes gear the same for everyone in sc's skill wins .. not 500 hours played, Keep that for RVR
Order: 80 AM / 77 RP/ 75 Knight
Destro: 82 Sham / 80 Zealot/ 80 DoK

I see the responsibility lying with the individual players. WAR is an MMORPG where group play was more important than anything else. It’s not hard to team up with at least two or three people to queue for a scenario if you actually want to win.
The best example was a forum hero posting here who, after yet another lost scenario, said he was done with WAR for now and was going to log into WoW instead.
I asked him what he would do first once he logged into WoW.
He replied that he’d sign up for a dungeon through the Dungeon Finder… funny, isn’t it?
So looking for two or three more players for a five-man group there is somehow totally different? He still hasn’t figured it out to this day.

Thing is there are many solo q players, and there are alaways some premade.

The solution is very easy.

Do not matchmaking the solo qers with the premade all the time.

Thats it, very simple.

Premade vs pug is the matchming now.

And its bad for premade and bad for pug soloqers too.

Amd yes solo sc is a solution but its vene wors matchmaking its usually 5v2.
