-check the ping group thing from the troubleshooting section
-switch to some newer wine or proton version (i see you are using old lutris-GE thing
-try restarting launcher couple of times (some people say it sometimes needs to be restarted several times before it goes at least on windows)
-could also be some sort of routing issue to servers from some locations but then VPN should help in theory.

Same problem, launcher can't download something. Either grayed out button or launcher hangs. Works in Windows VM though.

enable output debugging info under Runner options (advanced toggle)
and see the full Lutris log
paste it to pastebin.com or something and link it here.

mine still works without issues:

Deleting config files did nothing (New install)
Gnutls is installed in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors.
IPv6 disabling doesn't help.
Dotnet Bundle environment variable is set.
Tried VPN, no change.

And here are the two logs I've seen you ask for in the past:

Hey,
I recently switched the game wine version from wine-ge-8-26* to UMU-Latest, which fixed the issue with web server being yellow only.

I use lutris with wine-vanilla 10.15 and works fine. Once in awhile it hangs at yellow with and without ping trick. I just reload it a couple of times and it catches and works just fine.

I had the yellow light issue on patcher too, tried everything in the first page, none of these worked.
I tried all the builds on Lutris, with 32bit and 64bit wine prefixes, after cleaning up. Nothing worked there either.
While doing the workarounds on the first page I ve noticed one thing that is off, you can either install gnutls-bin or gnutls-bin:i386 now, not both. At least on Debian forky (testing/unstable) @xpander
Anyway, what seems to have eventually worked for me, was to use the "GE-Proton (Latest)" runner, but also enable the "Disable Lutris Runtime" (sic) on the System Options; on a 64bit wine prefix.
What is really missing from Lutris, and Linux gaming in general, is to have really reproducible environments; in the sense of how Nix does it for example.

update: Still, it only works like 1 out of 3 times... Maybe some recent update on the patcher causes this issue?
