We don't really have support for this sort of constant check to prevent you from buying additional seeds once you have an unlock. With enough time and coder support I'm sure we could do a total check of Purple Seeds acquired and build it as a sort of counter, but the hope is that the original issue (purple seeds vanishing while you grow) may already be fixed instead, which solves the problem at the source.

I suppose the solution may come from some sort of "invisble token" which is generated as soon a seed is put into cultivation, then retrieved either after removing seed from slot or after game crash ?

This way you ensure there always are the correct amount of seeds in player's inventory since each token will only "regenerate" one seed.
